Not in college football unless they're wearing a number that's outside of 50-79.

No idea how to pronounce this kids name. He needs a nickname bad!

I'm telling you, with a QB named Lock, we need a receiver we can nickname Load.

As far as Hentges, he has a spot if he wants one. For some reason though, I just get the feeling he may be one of the local guys that wants to spread his wings as go elsewhere. Some kids just don't want to go to college that close to home.

Not really. Really good high school program. I really only track the guys UGA gets mentioned with, but he seems like a solid get. Looks like he needs to fill out a bit but that's normal

How in the hell did NG not win state last year. They had Dante Sawyer, Nate Brown, Caleb Scott, Mitch Hyatt, Saint Amour and the Imatorbhebhe brothers. That's 7 SEC commits, and the other one is a 5*

They play at a really high level of high school football, obviously. They lost to Norcross, who had Lorenzo Carter, Myles Autry, Kevin Mouhon, AJ Bush, etc. All the big teams in Georgia are loaded with SEC level players

Mizzou has diffently made some inroads in Georgia, Imatorbhebe, Brown, Ross, Wilson, and Printz.
Pretty damn nice group right there

Don't think it means Mizzou is backing off of Hentges at all. Now how Hentges takes it is anyone's guess.

I think the question we have is not "Is Mizzou backing off?" but does this commitment speak to the Mizzou coaches' lack of confidence in landing him, or was it the plan all along to take multiple TEs?

For example we took a commitment from a DB the night before Kerryon Johnson announced for Auburn. Some think that we took it because we knew Kerryon was headed elsewhere.

Im thinking we are taking two TE, but i may be wrong too. Its a lil early to be backing off right now isnt it if thats the case.
Imho im not seeing hale but thats just me speaking.

I think the staff would take 2 TE's in a heart beat. Especially if it's those 2. About 6 or 7 years ago we were pretty successful running to TE's, Martin Rucker and Chase Coffman. We were absolutely deadly in the red zone. The biggest difference I see with today's team is that our TE's block more. Both Rucker and Coffman put up big numbers in college but struggled to stay on an NFL team because they never had to block.

That is the secret to Mizzou's success. Think I'm kidding? Take a look at our depth chart. Count the number of positions.

Thanks for the info

I know that Bama wants to take two TE's, but if we could get a commitment from Hentges, Gragg, and Clairington there is no way we would turn that down. Probability of that happening is slim to none, but that is like 2013 when we took four running backs because the talent was too hard to turn down.

Bama didn't get a true TE last class (Ty Fluornoy-Smith is an H) , and wanted to sign another with OJ Howard in 2013, but that fell through. This appears to be a deep year for TEs.

I think they want 2 TEs, we're thin at that position.
