Had offers from Florida, Vandy, Kentucky, Nebraska among others
Our second North Gwinett player in as many years, and we will likely land 4* Saint Amour from there as well.
His brother Josh figures to be a national level recruit next year

What does this mean in regards to Hale Hentges?

Forgot to ask this:
How many TE's do you plan on taking?
ETA: Saint beat me to it.

Remember when people questioned Pinkel for hiring Alex Grinch due to the family connection and lack of experience. Since taking over as the safeties coach he has been responsible for landing Daniel Imatorbhebhe, Tavon Ross, Thomas Wilson, Nate Brown, and Eddie Printz. Grinch may not be getting the results at the safety position, but the talent level was lacking when he arrived. Grinch is a stud recruiter so far for Mizzou, and it's time for some to eat crow on questioning his hire.

Nothing, we will take at least two TEs and Hentges will have a spot regardless.
No idea how to pronounce this kids name. He needs a nickname bad!

If Hentges wants to commit to Mizzou I'm sure the coaching staff wouldn't turn him down. Mizzou utilizes at least 4 sometimes 6 receivers on the field, and likes lining up tight-ends in the slot position to create mismatches.

Pete Scantlebury @PeteScantlebury
Daniel Imatorbhebhe's commitment to #Mizzou could kick off a huge year for Alex Grinch at North Gwinnett -- and in Georgia.
Anree Saint-Amour 4* DE coming to DlineU

Yup, Saint Amour looks to be not far behind.
I kind of questioned us pulling resources out of TX recruiting wise, but Georgia has been good to us.

I'm telling you nearly everyone questioned the Alex Grinch hire, but he is recruiting Georgia exceptionally.
The Kansas City Star reports Missouri Tigers head football coach Gary Pinkel has already decided who the new safeties coach will be once Barry Odom departs for the defensive coordinator job at Memphis. After the Independence Bowl, Pinkel will supposedly hire Alex Grinch who is a secondary coach at Wyoming. Grinch is Pinkel's nephew through his sister. Nepotism anyone? This isn't the first time Grinch has been on staff for his uncle. He was a graduate assistant coach at Missouri from 2003 to 2004.This isn't the first time nepotism on coaching staffs has happened in the state of Missouri, either. When Steve Alford coached the Missouri State University men's basketball team in the late 1990s, his father Sam was an assistant coach. I'm sure there are plenty of qualified coaches in the college ranks who would love a crack at a collegiate job at a top BCS program. In the case of Missouri, you may have to be related to the coach. Such a hiring may even be illegal. The Missouri Attorney General's office issued an opinion in 1997 stating the Missouri Constitution's nepotism law can be averted on coaching staffs. The only caveat is that the head coach cannot be directly involved in the hiring of a relative. Missouri State University states relatives cannot be supervised by another in the same department that are within the fourth degree. An uncle or nephew is a third degree relative.
The Missouri Constitution is fairly succinct on the matter.
"Any public officer or employee in this state who by virtue of his office or employment names or appoints to public office or employment any relative within the fourth degree, by consanguinity or affinity, shall thereby forfeit his office or employment," the document states. The athletic department does benefit from taxpayer dollars beyond just wealthy donors.
Someone would have to file a lawsuit against the University of Missouri to prove Pinkel's hiring is against state law. Pinkel would have to not hire Grinch nor supervise him in his duties. Grinch would have to report to the defensive coordinator on Mizzou's staff.

4 WR + 2TE = 6
4 WR + 1 TE + 1 RB shifted out of backfield = 6
