I think that you took that the wrong way - I'm not saying that at all. I'm just saying that an influential former teammate and leader - now at Bama - could absolutely help Bama recruit more WM players in the future. I have no doubt that when the WM players visit Bama - in the future - that Saban, et al, will have Slade help recruit other WM players.

Arledge coached O at Northwestern. You think Slade, who will not see them at all because he will be away at college, will have more influence than their coach they see every day?

I honestly don't know how much this matters. We know that Shows was a huge LSU fan, but since he has been gone, LSU is 0 for 2 ( Robinson and Bolden ) vs Bama landing WM players.

to you focusing on your own school's recruiting class. Seems like a lot of LSU fans are paying an inordinate amount of attention to a kid LSU didn't want. I don't seem to remember Bama fans being too concerned about Neil Farrell or Justin Thomas last year.

You cared enough to post that.. just stop posting in bolden threads if you don't care. He's going to be a solid pain in defenses asses for bama. They saw what everyone else did last year and in camps this summer! With a decent qb he will be very good as a wide out but one you can play at numerous spots including out of the backfield. If the new OC uses him right you could have matchup nightmares with the other RB's and wide outs yall have

I really don't see what all the chatter is about on LSU's page about this kid. I think he's a good player but he is not some elite talent that is a sure fire NFL prospect. We cooled on this kid weeks ago and I trust our coaches.

Who cares if he plays in the NFL, you can be great in college and not play a down in the NFL.

Look at Hunter Renfrow, might never play a down in the NFL, but has kicked Bama's arse two years in a row.

"Don't care"
Obviously you and the rest of your ilk must do to keep posting, keep melting and keep convincing yourselves that a kid you and coach O did not want is worth getting all worked up.
I for one enjoy what the kid brings but more importantly seeing supposed adults fall over themselves here and on your board. It's been entertaining.

All I did was give my opinion, but hey, if it makes you feel better to think I'm melting over this kid then have at it Bigbaw.

Aw look, my stalker hypocrite showed up and couldn't contain himself.
As stated before, I didn't call you out personally but since you interjected yourself you have some meltdowns to accomplish.

if so, he knows he'll be fully healthy come the NFL.

Lord knows he'll rarely be used in college.

He will be a slot WR all the way, imo.
