bump again for keith marshall and the Gala this weekend

the mighty swin says we may get JHC and sway the mighty Eliguwe or w/e his name is

oh and here are some of our commits talking about marshall
quote:

QB Faton Bauta: “Keith Marshall is an outstanding playmaker that will make my job much easier as a quarterback. I have watched his film and it is incredible, so I am glad he made the right choice and joined what I think is going to be an amazing class for Georgia.”

OT John Theus: “It definitely helps out the Georgia program. We are in an obvious need for a dominant running back and I would love to block for him!”

FB Quayvon Hicks - "I think that right there sealed the deal for the offensive side of the ball. It's the completion of the Dream Team on the offensive side of the ball. I think he will be a great asset to the 2012 class that is coming in. Looking at his highlights, Georgia doesn’t have many running backs this year like him. He is a unique young man and will give Georgia a great look next year."

OL Chester Brown - “Keith Marshall picking Georgia is really big. If you watched the SEC championship game, that is really where Georgia came up short -- with the running backs. With Richard Samuel out with an ankle injury, Carlton Thomas getting hurt with a knee injury and Isaiah Crowell not 100 percent, that is when it showed where Georgia lacked. With Keith Marshall coming to Georgia, that provides much needed depth at the running back position. If you look at LSU, they had four backs. Marshall is coming in as a big time running back. I have watched his highlights and he is a great back.”

2013 QB Brice Ramsey - “I feel like he's the best in the class of 2012, and that would be the best thing for UGA to get the top rated running back 2 years in a row. It will give them some depth, and I would surely not mind him being in the back field with me in a couple of years.”

2013 RB Derricky Henry - "Adding Marshall means that Georgia is about to take over!"

2012 TE target Blake Jackson - “He is a great player. Him and Isaiah Crowell are definitely going to open things up for the vertical passing game.”

Sounds like JHC is actually going to be in Gainesville this weekend. (According to DR) Still supposed to be leaning UGA but "had something else to do this weekend" and he could still make it to Gainesville. At leaste we still have his last OV about 2 weeks before signing day. Eligwe is still a possibility for sure and Young could potentially be swayed now that Weiss has moved on to bigger buffet tables. I think the weekend could bring some really nice results for the program for sure.

Also as a side note: Gurley is listed on Pg. 1 as a commit but I thought he hadn't decided yet... is this just wishful thinking?

RE: JHC - Dawg. Muschamp is getting desperate for him and selling his own players currently on the roster down the river to try and sway JHC.Says he's going to clean house and his reconstruction starts with JHC> As flattering as that may sound, that is at least 2-3 years that a guy like JHC is going to have to sit and lose football game because there is even less depth than there is now on the UF bench.

RE: Gurley - not a commit... yet. But Socrates over on LHB seems pretty certain that Gurley was more of a commit than Marshall before Marshall made it official. I'd expect him to be at UGA.

RE: GALA - iz gon be a fun night tonight But don't expect to hear much if anything until Sunday night at the earliest. These guys are going to soak up Athens all weekend and it should lead to some signatures. Wonder if any of them will be at the Munson memorial...

And Agholor is a lost cause at this point. Weiss leaving would have sealed the deal for us, but there are quite a few factors that are hurting us and helping Notre Dame, mainly: 1. Orson Charles, a good friend of Agholor and our biggest recruiting weapon with him, potentially leaving, and 2. Notre Dame was able to pull the move UF did a few weeks ago and offer Nelson's best friend as a package deal. UGA still having a lot of targets (needed targets too) isn't at liberty to counter the offer.

And because I've been absent all week and I have to exert my dominance as leader of the recruiting pack in Widespread's absence, here's a nice pretty list of our remaining targets

OLB - Josh Harvey-Clemons (Chance - Very Good)
JUCO WR - Cordarelle Patterson (Chance - Very Good)
RB - Todd Gurley (Chance - Very Good)
DB - Sheldon Dawson (Chance - Very Good)
DB - Will Redmond (Chance - Very Good)

RB - Mike Davis (Chance - Decent)
OLB - Jordan Jenkins (Chance - Decent)
OLB - Eukeme Eligwe (Chance - Decent)
ILB - Dillon Lee (Chance - Decent)
OT - Avery Young (Chance - Decent)
JUCO OL - Mark Beard (Chance - Decent)

WR/RB/ATH - Nelson Agholor (Chance - Meh)
DB - Yuri Wright (Chance - Meh / gotta get this kid on an OV)
DB - Chaz Elder (Chance - Meh)
DT - Ellis McCarthy (Chance - Meh)
DL - Dalvin Tomlinson (Chance - Meh)

Pretty sure that Yuri Wright just set up his last OV to UGA, but not sure how much that improves UGA's chances.

Did he for sure do it? Been hearing today that we finally got one out of him, and if so it bodes very, very well for us! We have Michigan, Rutgers, and Colorado to compete with. Kid already has a great relationship with lakatos and has had an in-home with Richt. Getting an OV, especially his last one is nothing but great news!

Surprise Gala visitor! Bama OL commit Brandon Greene is there with his family. Seems he is rather concerned with bama's oversigning and potential lack of PT. WOuld be a HUGE coup if we got the kid to flip.

Word on other visitors:

- Whitehead will be a Dawg. Rated his visit a 10, has us at #1
- Avery Young had a great visit and it appears to be an Auburn-UGA battle

Also, JUCO OL Mark Beard will be making his OV here tomorrow til Wednesday, wil turn around and officially graduate from his CC, and then next week will enroll somewhere. Gonna go out on a limb and say we get another big ugly on campus as soon as next week...

Hearing that we offered Tyren Jones for 2013. That would be another dynamic tandem of backs with Henry/Jones in 2013 to go along with Marshall/Gurley of this year and Crowell the year before

on top of offers out to Mike Davis for this year, and keyante Green for next year. Plus, if we finish up with Avery Young and Mark Beard on OL, our OL depth might be the best it has ever been under Richt

JUCO OL - Mark Beard to announce tomorrow... Insiders are cautiously optimistic he'll be a Dawg....
