LF has the potential to be something else, no doubt. Anyone who doubts that is kidding themselves.

No- he hasn't faced an SEC- or college- defense, yet. But he's the kind of back that simply does not come around every single year. There's a reason why his recruitment was such a circus.

His recruitment was pretty much the same as every other top back that comes out.

It's hilarious how much you delude yourself. But I guess you've gotten a lot of practice having to convince yourself that Shitstain Lane is going to bring great things to T-town.

You really don't have to defend everything about the guy. It's ok he has weird big ears.

Are you asking me to quantify hype?

I'm sorry that no one ever called any of the bama backs the next AP, but I'm sure you'll learn to live with it.

I remember seeing Yeldon's rivals comparison as Darren McFadden. Not sure how they got that though because they don't really run that similar at all lol

Not at all. Asking you to quantify what specifically was different from his recruitment that any other top back.

Trent Richardson was hailed as the next Marshawn Lynch coming out of college and looked at how his NFL career has progressed. Many 5 stars never pan out. Not to say that your fanbase should not be excited about him. You should. It's just funny to see him mentioned along side Gurley, Yeldon, and Davis, let alone Collins, Drake and some of the other guys who actually had some success in college.

Arky fans who say Jonathan Williams. Why do you think that? He is available in my CFB fantasy draft should I draft him over...say Keith Ford at OU who should get 65% of their carries? Give me a reason Williams will be Arky's best back.

or did I miss a joke...

True. I don't remember the football being too heavy for McFadden.

Yes, I'm afraid so. The original comment that you took exception to was that LF's recruitment was such a circus, meaning that the hype around him was abnormally high. Les took a huge risk and basically cleared the cupboard to entice him. LF was on the radar of many of the top coaches in the country as a freshman. It was a recruitment 4 years in the making. So what was so special about the top 10 match-up?

You know as well as I do how disingenuous that question is. Top back or not, every recruit gets scouted, has official visits, gets offers, and picks a school. It's like asking what was different about a top 10 match-up versus a game between 2 cupcakes. Afterall, they both only had 4 quarters, 2 teams, and an outcome.

I don't think he will be a top 3 SEC RB or anything but he was a more complete back than Collins last year. He got less carries but had a higher YPC. I wouldn't recommend him for a fantasy draft though because he will be splitting carries with two other RBs. But with a good year i think he'll be a 3rd-4th rounder in the draft if he declares

Not what I meant at all.

And can have vastly different quantifiable statistics. Terrible analogy.

Who is going to be the starter though? Because regardless of RBBC, that is the guy I want on my team out of that offense. Collins was drafted in the 4th round.
