Depth on the DL. If our depth holds up there- we are a 10 win team again. We have to have 2 DT's and 2 DE's step up and get after it in that 2nd group

Our biggest concern going into the season will be our depth in the secondary. We have a championship caliber starting line up, but will have to rely on true freshmen to spell.

DL is also another area of concern. We have very talented players but many of them lack SEC experience.

Our punter sucks and i am not sold on our kicker either.

That was one of the fastest deflects I've ever seen, even for a State fan. Well done

I actually feel pretty good about the D-line, and the defense as a whole. There's been a massive infusion of talent all across the line, and I think Hoke is going to pay serious dividends as a coach.

My major concern is with Mitch as a QB, and the emergence of another receiver to take some pressure off of Cooper. We've had some stud WRs in the Spurrier era, but Rice had McKinley, Alshon had Gurley and Sanders, and Ellington had Jones and Byrd to help keep defenses from shutting him down. Who is Cooper going to have in that role this year?

You may be right about Mitch. But G.A. and the HBC usually have the QBs ready.

Plenty of talent on the DLine, but the lack of experience is concerning.

I agree, Hoke is going to make a difference .... I hope.

WR - we've really got some good looking young talent there. Hopefully Bubba gets one or two ready to help #11.

Your Teams Biggest Concern as of Today
Outside of QB, I'm most concerned with LSUs LBs and O-Line.

LBs because Coach O should have the D-line ready to go and the DBs are going to be elite but the LBs have a question mark. They are experienced upperclassmen but they aren't stellar and I think they need to make a big step forward this year to make this defense elite.

O-Line because they now have an elite stable of running backs, including one of the best in the country, as well as a offense that favors mobile QBs.. For both of these to succeed they need an elite O-Line. I think they will.. but my biggest concern is them being ready (a couple new guys) and executing.

In 2010, Georgia had the biggest line in college football and went 6-7. I think that there is a place for an athletic OL to really do well with the more wide open offenses out there. I don't know where that break point is...but I think that you can still be successful in the 280's range if you are in the right situation.

I'm sure it is...that is great that you took the time to show sympathy for another program...but I think this was a thread about concerns for your team.

Before the transfer of Blake Countess, by far the biggest concern was corner. If Jonathan Jones is healthy I'm not concerned anymore. Now my biggest concern is who are our backups if we lose a starter at corner and at DT.

It was the biggest line in football period. And they were awful. There were some bad years for Georgia in the offensive line category. It's only been consistantly good since 2012. I'm a little worried about that group again this year with Coach Friend gone and a new center. When Andrews got hurt and had to leave the Florida game, offensive production stopped. Chubb had 100 rushing yards in the first quarter...and just over 50 for the other three total. I think this is Georgia's biggest concern right now. A great offensive line can make a decent QB look great but a bad one will make Park/Bauta/Ramsey/Virginia Guy look like hot garbage.

OL. If they play well together this year and we can have a marginally better running attack we will be dangerous. With a good OL we could put any of the 3 QBs out there and be fine. Have them manage the game while the defense controls it.

Very similar in size and performance to UT's OL in 2005. The first thing Cutcliffe did when he came back in '06 was to get the weight down on the OL.
