LSU 47 Illinois 34 Sugar Bowl 2002
Outside of obvious National Title. But that 2001 LSU team was just a fun return to prominance. The LSU-Tennessee SEC Title game is my favorite game of all time!

Definitely. 52-20 over biggest rival for a national championship? Can't get much better than that.

Didn't Wuerffel pretty much stay in the shotgun for all of that Sugar Bowl.
Pretty close to an Air Raid offense.

Yes, Spurrier wasn't a big fan of shotgun at the time.

One of my favorites also, top 5 for sure.

2011 Gator Bowl. 52-14 over Michigan.

In more recent history, I personally enjoyed the 2005 Cotton Bowl vs Texas A&m. It was virtually an away game for us and we were underdogs. The Big Orange absolutely skull fricked the aggies that day. It was a 35-7 curb stomping from the start of the game. Of course that day lead to many false hopes in the upcoming years.

1978 Orange Bowl.
Beat #2 ranked OU 31-6. Holtz had suspended our starting TB and FB as well as our leading receiver prior to the team leaving Fayetteville for Miami. No one gave Arkansas a chance...Vegas took the game off their boards. The game wasn't as close as the score.

Either 2005 destruction of Miami because it was the katrina year and the team wasn't 100% by the time the seccg came around. It was awesome seeing that team play a full game against miami. Miami fans had signs that said, "we're going to finish what katrina started".
Or 2007 Sugar bowl against over rated Brady Quinn and Co. That game had to be the reason Quinn was dropped so low in the draft and JR got the number one overall pick.

The 97 Sugar. It's pretty obvious why.

That's it for me. I can't imagine what it would take for any game to knock that one out of the top spot.
Years of being hungry for a championship, stripping bare the most hated team in college football, all the Miami trash talk before the game, the Teague strip...
I get all horny just thinking about it.

I'm still pissed my Mom wouldn't let me miss a day of school. I had the ticket to that game in my hands. But, noooo... A single day of middle school was more important than a national championship.
To answer the O P. My favorite bowl game was the 02 Sugar against Illinois.

For me...it would be either of these:
2002 Citrus Bowl...blew out Michigan 45-17. Jason Witten outrunning Michigan's DBs really showed the speed difference between the SEC and Big-10.
1996 Citrus Bowl...Beat #4 Ohio State with Heisman Trophy Winner Eddie George, 20-14. Jay Graham outrunning everyone on a 69 yard touchdown...Bill Duff stuffing Eddie George on 4th down at the 1 yard line. Awesome game.

Holy Crap...I don't know what I was thinking...I completely forgot the '85 Sugar Bowl...Blowing out #2 Miami 35-7....damnit...I must really need my coffee to wake up.

Good one- I don't personally remember it given I was 6 but great story.
And I'm not one to always say the most recent but our last Cotton Bowl over K State. That was after the player's death, after getting annihilated at LSU. Probably the best defensive performance by a hog team in several years. Plus, BP (the bastard) known for his great play calls actually didn't go for it on 4th down which I thought was his best call of the night. We pinned them back and kicked their arse stealthily after that.
