There is not any need to read the thread to know the truth. Hell, I suspect any script A that actually post something about going to Pasadena is lying thru their arse

The sister and I changed the tires on the house and took the road trip out west. I was awestruck over LA's majestic beauty. It's official, the trailer parks and ghettos in Cali >>>>>>>>>>> trailer parks and ghettos in Alabama.

There's nothing like it in College Football. The ones who say otherwise and shite on the Rose Bowl are the ones who have never been there

As a Californian, how does one obtain all that glorious weed y'all are known for? A friend is visiting LA next week and wants to know, because he can only get brickpack Mexican shwag in Texas. Again, this is a friend of mine and not me.

Do I just ask some shmuck or is there a way for my friend to get a medical card or some shite?

I stayed in the Hyatt in Century City when I went. There was a mall nearby that had a restaurant called "Rock Sugar" that we became extremely fond of. It's Asian stuff (more Thai-like than Chinese). It's fantastic though- we ate there every day

Youll have a great time. See all the tourist stuff. Venice Beach, Graumann's, Hollywood Sign. Get up to the Reagan Library if you have a chance. And definitely see Malibu/Pacific Palisades. Pasadena is nice and beautiful but there's no need to get out there until game day. Just enjoy southern California until then.

Definitely agree on Reagan library. Really cool

He missed Marcel's interception return for a TD before half
I missed it also due to the jammed tunnels.
I did get to see two huge Texas and Alabama guys beating the shite out of each other while throwing female security guards off them like rag dolls in the concourse. Both had to be 6'5 300+lbs.

Yes In and Out Burger for sure.
Gladstones in Santa Monica. Might even see a cleb.
Paradise Cove in Malibu. Be sure to put you toes in the sand!
Griffith Observatory if you like science stuff. Good view of the Hollywood sign. Nice shows at the Planetarium.

In N' Out is great if you want a nice somewhat "healthy burger" - and yes, "animal style" plus "messy" is the way to go.
But if you want a fantastic greasy tasty chili burger...
Go to Tommy's Burgers.
That's where the USC/UCLA students go.

Never closes in most locations. There's no seating...it's a burger shack...
The original location, at Beverly & Rampart. The Shack is in the foreground, the building surrounding is also a part of the restaurant. Patrons eat at their cars or standing at the counter along the back walls.

Unless the renovation changed things, be sure to get beer/use restroom before going into the bowl. The huts are inside the gates but outside the bowl. Other than that it's an amazing stadium, companies haven't been able to pervert it with ads and billboards and commercials just yet.

We stayed in Vegas, rented a convertible, and drove in to Pasedena and back for the game. It made for a long day (about 24 hours from leaving until we got back), but it was awesome.
Entering the Rose Bowl for a game like this you can suddenly see exactly why all of these contests are called called bowl games. Most of the stadium and the field are below the ground entrance level, and instead of rising in decks all the seats surround the field in one massive, hollowed out bowl shape.

Pasadena sucks. Miami and New Orleans are 10X better.
