How about 2008-2010? Because they didn't show up either.

Why are you so vehemently defending TCU?
Compared to UNLV or Wyoming or San Diego State, are you serious?
Their business model is better than Oklahoma States and OSU has had a lot of success with worse history.

I'm just wondering where these new fans will spawn from? They're not going to be stealing fans from UT or TAMU. They just won't. They're a small private school with a small alumni-based fan base.

Expansion is a fail if....
B1G (12 teams) = SEC (14 teams) in terms of revenue.
Why... Arkansas and Tennessee play once every 12 years with an 8 game schedule. That is not a plus for expansion to not even be on the top of the revenue stream.

Come on...if your saying TCU is going to have success because of their bright new shiny stadium then you better check out OSU's facilities. Their football village and stadium are really really good. Boone Pickens has upgraded their facilities tremendously and they avearge almost 51,0000 a game.

Same fans that showed up for the Rose Bowl 45,000 of them who normal don't care to watch TCU play Wyoming or SDS at home.
However, they will show up to watch Texas, OU and OSU in Fort Worth.

Okie State won the Big 12 this year. Seems like their shiny stadium and facilities are paying off for them.
I believe he is saying the same thing can happen for TCU when they actually invest in their program.

Keep up. I've already addressed this pages ago.

No he was saying that TCU could have more success then OSU...which they won't.

Texas Christian actually has a history of winning. They were just nearly killed as program when they were shut out of joining the Big XII in 1996.

Of course a fellow Hog fan gets it.
They have the same new facility while being located in a much better recruiting area in a much better college town located 30 mins from Dallas.
Fort Worth > Stillwater and you never have to leave the state of Texas to play against Texas, Baylor or Texas Tech.

Oklahoma State already had the built in fan base for the most part. That's something TCU just doesn't have. I don't think anyone is saying TCU can't or won't be successful on the field. They already have prove they can be. TCU is and probably always will be a niche school when it comes to fandom.

Kinda like TAMU could have more success than Texas but they won't, right?

Rose Bowl proves TCU has a fan base.

They don't have a large fan base. They just don't and you're lying to yourself if you believe they do. Filling up 40% of a 100k seat stadium does not prove a damn thing other than them having 40k fans who wanted to go bad enough to buy a ticket.

Funny thread because your terrible team scored 5 points against Missouri in a loss this year.
It's pretty easy to beat Hack Brown

Let's see....TAMU 50,000 students...largest growing alumni base in the country. We have more potential to be better then t.u. then TCU does with 9,000 students compared to OSU 32,456.
So it would take TCU about 3 years to almost equal one year of enrollement at OSU.
