It happened a good bit in the late 80s and early 90s. Both met has top fifteen teams in 2005.

Nice Avatar, just noticed it.

Cannot wait for it to come out. It should be great.

I can't wait for it. I'm not sure it can match the greatness of Band of Brothers, but it will be good.

I expect it to be more of a contrast to BoB. The WWII campaign in the Pacifc was a much different war.

I was referring more to the fact that Hanks Spielberg produced and directed both.

I know that but the subject matter is usually not as appealing to a lot of people. It's a much more ugly subject matter. Geauxboy is a huge BoB fan and I don't think he'll like the Pacific as much. It is difficult to explain without completely derailing the thread.

I would expect it to dwell in the psychological more, judging from from I've read about it. Kind of like the differences with Saving Private Ryan and The Thin Red Line. It wasn't just two different types of war, it was the harsh psychological impact the Pacific War inflicted. This is not that one couldn't say the same things about Europe or North Africa. It's just the subject matter, as you said.

Ahh, I was under the impression it would be somewhat of a similar format. I've not read much about it. I like the psych aspect and liked the Thin Red Line as much as Saving Private Ryan but I can see where it become a bit slow for some people.

Armand Williams is a beast WR.

I'm actually very excited about this pickup.

Max Emfinger agrees:

quote:

"Armand Williams (6-3, 188, 4.51, 42 VJ, 4.2 SH, 139 SBJ, 18 REPS, of Slidell, Louisiana is one of the most sensational Super Combine Freaks that I have ever seen. He came to the Zachary Super Combine as a relative unknown, but left as the Super Combine Camp MVP as he did an incredible 139 inch Standing Broad Jump. If I had not have seen it myself, I would not have beleived that it was true."

And further: "
I personally believe that Armand Williams may be one of the Top Five wide receivers in the country and since his high school football team was a dominating running team, he was never able to be highlighted. For this reason, he was "Flying Under the Recruiting Radar" during the recruiting season, during his senior football season, and after the season, since there were no huge stats. He is still Flying under the recruiting radar."

And the video:

He reminds me of Gragg. Maybe he'll be a beastly TE.

Thanks for your sympathies, though.

This kid went to my high school.

He sucked.

He's as good as his Mississippi State offer.

Why would you assume that I played?

Is this going to bring Arkansas' recruiting rank up from 53rd?

Bitter, table of one. We will now be seating you.

But really, are you just upset that Ole Pississippi didn't pick him up or something?

One of two things here:

1. He boned your skirt
2. You think separate proms are the shiz
