Would Ole Miss Fit Better In The American Athletic Conference?

The American Athletic Conference consists of 12 current prestigious institutions:
University of Central Florida
University of Cincinnati
East Carolina University
University of Connecticut
University of Houston
University of Memphis
U.S. Naval Academy (in football only)
University of South Florida
Southern Methodist University
Temple University
Tulane University
University of Tulsa
Wichita State University will join The American for the 2017-18 season
Based upon the historical success and the trajectory of overall Ole Miss Athletics, would the AAC be a strategic and optimum opportunity for Ole Miss to pursue? Expanding the AAC to 14 football programs appears to be in play.

Tulane being an SEC charter member would be an instant rivalry.

They'd also fit in because SMU and Memphis are very familiar with recent NCAA sanctions.

Well they already have a natural rivalry with Memphis too

Big Ten. Bunch of Flagship schools that used to dominate college football but are now basketball schools.

No but Missou would be and it's a great way to get rid of that stinky garbage bag we are having to deal with now.

Misery recently took home the Manager's National Championship in hoops. They're contributing at least.

What the hell is a Manager's Trophy? Is McDonald's giving out awards now to employees with the least fricked up orders?

I feel much better about our future trajectory than Auburn, LSU, Alabama, Mississippi State, TAMU, and many others.
Name another SEC school that has gone to the CWS, Sugar Bowl, and NCAA Tournament in the past three years?
And oh yeah our softball team can kick your arse.

Name another SEC school that has been hit with a postseason ban in football in the last 3 years.
