BUT we are great in baseball so the point is moot. Back in my day ("Tell us Grandpa! Please) we did suck at baseball and no one went to the games or cared.

I care about the basketball team. We just suck, so I don't really watch the games.

No. The only reason they care as much as they do is because they found a sport no else cares about in baseball. This allows them to succeed by default. It's not a coincidence that the rise in LSU baseball and its fan bases support happened in the 1990s when they couldn't compete in football.

what a question. there are some hard core basketball fans at LSU but most of us just follow LSU sports so losing programs don't gather much interest (except football of course). but, if we sucked at baseball I guarandamntee you that the adm. would bust their arse and come up with the big bucks to hire the best coach in the land. it is unacceptable to suck at baseball at LSU.

like a Kentucky fan has any credibility at all regarding college baseball. just because you don't care about and then aver that no one else does really shows you don't know shite. try going to an LSU baseball game or USCe or MSU, etc. pick an SEC matchup. you will stop spewing your garbage. and we win with students too, not that one and done crap y'all put on the court disguised in a Kentucky uniform.

What do you want us to do? We told you we suck, and never entered the season with high expectations. Only so many times we can laugh at ourselves before it becomes irrelevant.
I think LSU is going to allow Johnny to finish the season and then let him go. Sad to see an alum get the can, but his product is putrid

Or the fact that we won 5 out of 10 cws around that time. Most LSU fans love the big 3. Just because we aren't having a good year doesn't mean nobody cares. I thoroughly enjoy LSU basketball, but they are hard to watch at times. There is an obvious hook here, but it can go multiple ways. We just want to be competitive in basketball, and we feel like Jones needs to go in order to do so. Do I think we'll ever be a duke or Kansas or anything like that in basketball? No, but we do have a decent history, nothing great, but more than a few SEC teams

Seriously? LSU is no outlier to have thousands of fans not give a shite when their team sucks.

College athletics definitely has a big 3 but I guess since you don't care about it the whole Alabama fan base doesn't care about baseball....
