If Nick was a half way flexible coach Bama would have never lost a single game with Manziel with all that talent.

There are two sides to that coin. Sometimes, when you are a little flexible, shite-heads like Johnny Manziel will take advantage of that and turn your football team into a soap opera about himself.

That was bad, bruh

ETA: And the answer to the OP is no. Saban wouldn't have started him.

Hell, the only reason Manziel started at TAMU was because Sumlin wanted his swashbuckling at QB. Mike Sherman never would have let him off the bench while we still had Jameil Showers.

You can debate if Bama would have won more, but there is no debate whether A&M could have won as much with AJ. Always keeping in mind that Manziel was a red shirt freshman.

The easy answer to this is to flip teams, would AJ win as much with A&M or with Manziel win more with Bama?
that's your answer

According to A&M fans, you guys outspend Alabama in everything - so we know ol' Johnny was raking in the dough anyway ;p

I don't believe he would have won as much because he would have broken down team chemistry.

A lot of football players don't like prima donna's who try to make everything about themselves. Especially not at Alabama where the team aspect, not the individual, is stressed.

Linemen don't block, running backs don't run, receivers don't catch for someone they don't respect or feel don't care about them.

Manziel would have been in Saban's doghouse so often I doubt he'd make much of an impact.

No, Manziel was over-rated and only won the heisman due to them leaving him in long enough to get 5 and 6 TD's against crap teams like Rice "because he needed experience" combined with the hype of the Alabama game.

He wasn't very good when he faced most of the better defenses. And really, he wasn't that great against Alabama outside the 1 quarter.
