Was it you who said, "selective much"?
If you are going to take away the highest from the east, why are you leaving the highest in the west?
So by your standards, correctly applied, Auburn played 135 against the east and 130 against the west

..but after that, your games has historically been skewed to the west not the east.
umm, nope

No way this would happen. The Iron Bowl would become permanent, and Alabama would lose its rivalry against Tennessee.
You don't know what you are talking about. Bama has been on the record about what which game would take priority if AU moved to the East. That was under Mal but I doubt that Bill Battle (former UT coach) will change that view
Perhaps you should compare Bama's history with Tennessee and Auburn.

we do

Tenn hasn't won shite in 15yrs.
Tenn won the SEC east less than 15 years ago

The same could be said about Auburn as well.
Did I touch a nerve by using your comment in relation to LSU?

Having a chance to beat Alabama is what 95% of Auburn fans live for. Quit trolling.

No. Not at all. Since we are talking "history" why don't we go back to right before this issue began with expansion in 1992. Auburn's most common SEC opponents through 1991:
87- Georgia
69- Florida
65- Mississippi State
50- Alabama
42- Tennessee
29- Vanderbilt
26- Kentucky
25- LSU
16- Ole Miss
When expansion happened, five of Auburn's top 7 rivals in the SEC were placed in the East, and Auburn was placed in the West.
You can not look at that list and rationally say that historically Auburn has more of a connection with the West. It's just ridiculous to even try to make that argument. The facts are not on your side.

Auburn's base is in AL, GA and FL as well

Oh so we are just throwing out the last 25 years now? You have no problem suggesting Bama should give up the TSIO and you didn't answer my question about which team Bama has more history with: Auburn or UT?
Edit: Here let me help. Bama has played UT 98 times which is more than we have played AU which is 80 times. It is also more than AU has played Florida which seems to be a point of concern.

I don't give a shite really what Auburn does I am fine with you guys staying in the West because it's a win on our schedule. Not sure why you guys are against the move to the East when it benefits you to be in the East.

Every Alabama fan wants to beat Auburn every year. Every Auburn fan wants to beat Alabama every year. Both fanbases want to not only see their team succeed, but compete for and win championships.

The thought process is Bama would keep UT over AU. I highly doubt it though
And you people try and say the Iron Bowl is the best rivalry in CFB.
But honestly, I don't ever see this happening. Bama wouldn't end the iron bowl to keep a series with Tennessee alive. Unless I just don't understand the dynamics down there at all(which is possible).

No way. The size of the villain determines the size of the hero. While I hate Bama, that's just it...By proxy,I get to rage against the dark side who I believe to be about organized & systematic manipulation (REC, Emmert/Saban, Bryant Bank BOT, etc.), not playing on a level playing field, coercion, all while fooling the rank-and-file.
The Iron Bowl is relevant every year because of this. The Auburn underdog spirit is on display for the world to see because of the Iron Bowl. When we win it is joyous. When they win it is relief. They are "supposed to win" because of all the natural advantages, both real and manipulated to their favor, so it is all the more sweet when we do. They have more talent, resources, and fans and always will. All that one needs to know about the Auburn family is summed up in the Auburn Creed. It's David vs. Goliath. I like it that way. Some people dig that, some don't. But there is no way I want to give up the iron bowl, and all true Auburn men and women who believe in the Auburn Creed don't either. The Auburn spirit is unbreakable and unafraid.
In other words....Hell no, Bring it on!!

It would be like UGA demanding they move the Georgia-Florida game out of Jacksonville because it isn't a neutral site when in reality they are just looking for an edge because they are sick of losing. That was basically the reason behind the it. They were bitching about it for years but Bryant told them to EABOD.
This is silly. UGA or UF don't play 3 or 4 games a year there like Bama used to in B'ham. It was a decided disadvantage for AU and anyone who can't see that is too much of a homer to see it objectively.

I would love a break from their fans, but I absolutely love the games. But for them, you can't have one without the other because their fan base is pure white trash...while their football team is pure gold as far as what you would want your own football program to be.
I love how this rivalry makes people think.
"Alabama fans are white trash!" said the Auburn fan next door neighbor at the trailer park

And the answer to this question is always the same. It doesn't have anything to do with whose fanbase is the worst, historical rivalries, or anything that people on a message board like to talk about.
What benefits Auburn and can this help them win/make more money?
If they believe it can then they need to hit up east schools for support and start the politics of trying to make it happen.

You've made an excellent argument for moving Auburn to the East and Tennessee to the West.
