Noice? LSU in the north? Geography much?

When 16 team conferences happen, and I really hope it is no time soon, that is the most likely scenario.

A true north south split would leave the south with:

TAMU
LSU
UF
Bama
AU
UGA
MSU

Yep would need to swap teams.

South
TAMU
LSU
UF
Usc
Au
OM
MSU

North
Mizzo
UK
Ark
UT
BAMA
UGA
Vandy

Alabama

Auburn

UGA

Historically this might be ok, however given the current lay of the land Alabama would win their pod pretty much indefinitely.

Pod 4 would also be too strong most years.

I'll take a stab(reasoning in quotes)
South:
Bama(football)
Florida(a little bit of everything)
LSU(football, outside of tQB position. And for Miles entertainment value)
UGA(football, ensuring a B1GSEC North victory in tCCG)
Auburn(football)
Tennessee(large stadium more than anything)
Vandy(the Northern portion of this setup would want the academics)

North:
tOSU(football, but like UF a bit of everything)
Michigan(prestige. Maybe football again, someday)
PSU(football, someday)
Sparty(football every 4 years or so, though they're on a roll)
Wisconsin(running game)
IU(basketball)
Kentucky(basketball)

I'd support it.

From the current setup swap ala and auburn for ky and mizz, would even up the divs and by the time they get unbalanced again we'd go to 16 probably anyway so they could be sorted again.

I've been saying this for years. It makes an absolute mockery of the SEC that Mizzou is in the East. It's just a disgrace to America.

Yeah, I was responding to this:

Kentucky vandy tennessee... I bet you do like that alignment

I liked the subtle dig.

Context much?
