It's sad that we know these officials by name. Plus 1000. I mean frick there are crews as bad or worse that Ritter, holy frick! 
Comment about the politics is very interested. I too suspect a "protect the shield" vibe going on. Sometimes it hurts LSU, but to be frank and honest sometimes it helps. We were getting tons of calls versus Florida this weekend. They seem to favor the higher ranked team.
