2007 Auburn

Never had more people talk crap to me before a game...and after the game it was much worse. Rode a faculty bus and after we loaded to leave, some dude jumped on the bus and yelled "war eagle MFers" and threw a handful of skittles at everyone then ran off.

Yeah I love skittles too but not to the temple

I would have loved to retaliate but I probably would have lost my ticket privileges.

EDIT: best road trip was the blackout game in Georgia...and I was on tv that day too

2009 Egg Bowl

The very reason I will never set foot in Starkville when Ole Miss is playing there.

Only thing that even came close to a bad experience for an SEC gameday experience was this old woman in Atlanta, before the 99 SECG.

The old bag was a Flowery fan, complete with huge alligator earrings that gaudiest things ever devised. She spent nearly two minutes in line behind us, continually pestering us with "Are we playing UAB, UAH, or UAT, I can't remember?" Evidently, she thought this was funny.

Because she was 80 years old, we tried to be polite and ignore her, but she kept on and even swatted at us with her shaker. My buddy finally had enough and snatched her shaker out of her hand and told her, "Lady, you're team's not playing a night school tonight and you're about to find that out. And, by the way, the geriatric rides are over there." The "well, I've never" look on her face was priceless.

That's not really a bad experience, but it was funny at the time.

Only time anything ever got near violent with an opposing fan base was at the Orange Bowl, when some drunk Michigan types were cat-calling our lady friends. But, looking back at it, the girls were kind of trashy, so nbd.

ETA: I did see an old lady get knocked in the head by an Old Charter bottle chunked from the Ole Miss student section, in Oxford, one year.

Easily Oxford. Overrated tailgating and the bars closed to early.

Oxford this year. I guess I've heard so much about the grove that my expectations were too high. But it is just so different from LSU tailgating that it threw me off. Had to park in some weird sketchy mall parking lot and take a shuttle to campus. But the biggest thing was how quiet they play music there. Don't get me wrong, I hate when music is so loud that you can't hold a conversation; but if you wanted to hear music on the grove you had to huddle around the speakers. Also we lost so I hated it 100x more.

Good, don't ever come back.

And to the Aggies talking shite about Baylor...You know they are building a brand new stadium next year. You can't even afford a new stadium because you have a bad case of the poors. Also, what's it like to have a school with 1/5 of your enrollment continue to have a better football program than yours in the state of Texas?

I'm sorry we didn't blare Skrillex at 100 decibels like every LSU tailgate. We will correct this moving forward.

Can't.... resist.... bait....

You don't do the most expensive college stadium build or rebuild in history if you are poors.

A&M has lost to Baylor twice since 1985 including two absolute bitch slaps of RGIII led Baylor to end the series where he left the field both times barely able to walk. There is no current football player for Baylor or A&M that was alive the last time they won at Kyle.

FWIW though, I think Tech is a worse experience. Baylor sucks but it is Kyle Field North with more maroon than green at the game. Going there is like taking out the slutty girl in high school that you know you are getting laid. It may not be great but its still sex, just remember your rubber. Tech is like LSU except they really take pleasure in making your trip miserable. At LSU if you laugh and go along they might offer you some gumbo. At Tech they just like to throw things at you from tortillas to goal posts and they take pleasure in being inhospitable to guests.
