Yet your fellow Alabama fan is suggesting Auburn fans are delusional for believing Dhaquille Williams will be a great player when he was rated a 5 star recruit and the #1 juco player by just about every recruiting site

No its not close. Auburn returns two quarterbacks that have played more than any Alabama quarterback has played. Auburn also returns every wide receiver and more players on the offensive line

If you look at the defense, Auburn's returning players on the defensive line have twice or even three times as many sacks and tackles for loss as Alabama's returing players on the defensive line. Auburn also returns both their leading tacklers at linebacker.

Our offense is going to be great, I just hope we get luckier with injuries this year all around, but especially on defense.

Holsey, Garrett, and Denson were missed last year.

Auburn probably is not going to have a starting RB. Likely going to have a rotation of four guys running the ball unless someone just shows to have a hot hand like Mason last year.

I don't believe we will break the record. However our team as a whole will be better this year. No one ever expected to be that good last year..it was a complete shocker. Next year we have all the tools to be great. Will it happen? I'm not sure, but we do have the chance to be one of the better teams Auburn has ever had.

This would be rev. if UGA had ever made a BCSNCG... That said, we know they never did and probably never will...

Auburn lost by far their best player. It's probably best to temper expectations.

4 star replaced by a 5 star

4 star replaced by another 4 star.

Some teams reload.

I'm not sure if you mean Mason or Robinson. Replacing Robinson will be hard. Mason much less so. The defense lost its worst players to graduation, so that's a plus.

Outside of Dee Ford and Chris Davis, addition by subtraction

G-rob will be a tough loss but Avery Young or Shon Colemon will be just fine. The other half of our line will be improved. RB in this offense is a dime a dozen..people will know all about CAP and Barber by seasons end. Ricky Parks will also fill the H-back role

Auburn also returns most of the second best field goal block/return offense in the conference. Let's not forget that.
