Coates is good.

Louis is only good if he gives up on a throw and over runs it.

But then again, you guys have a WR thats never even caught a pass in college and your calling him "top flight" and a "future first rounder"

Know what you mean. Those Auburn people say the same garbage about quarterbacks.
Sheit like that never happens, especially at Auburn. Next they'll be saying he will win a Heisman.

if i was auburn, i would still hope we run 80-20

i would not want nick marshall slinging the ball around.

As an LSU fan you're not going to want Nick Marshall slinging the ball around.

Can't you see that all of Marshall's overthrows last year were all a part of Malzahns master plan to set up the pass for this year? Malzahn is going to take the leash off Marshall's arm this season and yall are all SOOO FUUCCKKEDDD

The coaches keep saying there's a lot more to Marshall than we've seen. You have to admit, some of his completions are pretty damn impressive, just inconsistent. "A" day game will probably give us an idea of what's coming. WR's played along last year and this staff owes them one. Plus they say there will be more of a passing game this next season. If NM can't deliver the goods, I have a feeling will be seeing more JJ.

Back then you guys were saying Barret Trotter was pushing Cam for the starting position I think the success he brought to the plains has some of you a little delusional.

Not gonna argue that Williams has loads of potential, but remember the law of physics, and Williams ability to run routes will be severely hampered with the weight of you guys hanging from his sack

Sheit ! I thought we were talking about #1 JC players with phenomenal potential transferring to Auburn and being successful as hell.

I would hardly call being excited about Williams ability "hanging from his sack", especially when he's part of this offense. You don't seem to realize that running the read option 80% of the time really isn't Gus Malzahn's forte. If the roles were reversed you would be giddy as a schoolgirl. Oh........ that's right, you guys never get excited about a recruit.

Wrong. That's what the coaches were saying, not "we" during spring practice. You obviously have no understanding of bringing in a new quarterback and throwing him in the number one spot without disrupting things. It was obvious, to me at least, that he was the best option during the spring game and if I remember correctly, he was named the starter just a few days after the spring ballgame

Tards like are the people who have no clue. Still return 4 starters from the best OL in the SEC. If Dhaquille Williams lives up to the hype, this could be the best group of receivers we have had in the 15 or 20 years I followed Auburn football. We also probably have two quarterbacks better than most of the other quarterbacks in the SEC

Somewhere on this board there is a place to make words appear bold, and in different colors... the part about 15 or 20 years you've followed Auburn football.

Well, are you 15 or 20...

So were Freddie Kitchens. Marshall's forte is not throwing.

Auburn's 2005 WR group was better... I guess that could change.

Your whole argument about Dhaquille Williams is retarded considering Auburn returns many more key players than Alabama does this year. If you think Alabama will be better, you have to take into account recruiting rankings and the potential those players have even though they are unproven at the college level

Nah but keep thinking that

It is pretty even to me

Bama loses starting QB, LT, a starting WR, RG, starting FS, starting MLB, starting DE

AU loses starting RB, starting FB, LT, MLB, Starting DE, not sure who else on D was a Sr to be honest but just from who I listed looks pretty even.

Bama has to find a starting QB, AU has to find a starting RB

Absolutely right

Bama slaughtered every other team except maybe LSU in recruiting and put together what looks on paper like what could be Saban's best overall class. Lots of starting and star potential in it even at areas of need for Bama. So that gives Bama an advantage does it not?
