IMO the lack of TV for college baseball has hurt its popularity. With SEC network, I think the ratings will be much improved.

Yep, people forget there has been a huge lack of coverage on college baseball for a long time up until recently. SEC Network helps out a lot.

Women's basketball coverage has been around for a while, and it doesn't take a scientist to realize what the true fans care about more on a message board like this when it comes to women's basketball vs. college baseball.

Keep this all in mind when you hear someone on this board say College Baseball is the #2 NCAA sport behind College Football and ahead of College Basketball

No one says this.

Even the MLB has went to shite. College boreball is down right laughable. Most games end up 1-0 with 4 hits. Also to the poster above saying it's clearly number 3, look again because womens basketball is clearly ahead of it.

I will never argue college baseball is more popular than college basketball, but both products have gone to shite. College basketball is pretty much terrible to watch these days too

It is definitely difficult to watch college basketball in comparison to the NBA.

There is a reason its not on TV

Not worth paying for the production truck, production crew, talent, equipment, and all of that to put a product on the air that no one will watch and therefore no company will pay to advertise on.

The main thing I like about college baseball is that it translates to the radio well so I can listen to that while I am doing yardwork or something on a Sunday.

We absolutely love baseball at Vandy. Despite having a small alumni base, we consistently rank in the top 25 in attendance. There is nothing like eating hot dogs on a warm afternoon and watching your home run hitter put it over the wall.

I guess this is why there has been a massive shift to televise more and more college baseball games every season.

Oh wait, your argument just got shot to shite.

I see you're already picking up where you left off last year by making a shite ton of fricktarded threads to remind everyone you don't care about college baseball

Already made 2 this week and the first game hasn't even been played yet

Baseball in general just doesn't translate well to television, college and MLB. It can be very difficult to watch, especially with the offense killing bats/balls.

I enjoy baseball games more than football honestly, although I care more about football. Interest is peaked when you have one of the best, if not the best atmosphere in the country.
