Take Bo's 5 years with the Royals before he got hurt and I bet he's better than that nobody you have listed.

Also I'm not baseball nerd, but isn't WAR a measure of hitting value. Bos strength was his defense, which is kind of important for an outfielder.

no. It's a measure of everything. Hitting, defense, and baserunning

No, it's a complete value of a player.

Bo was a career .250 hitter with a .309 OBP. He was a good player and an insanr athlete, but you are overestimating his accomplishments.

As a Cardinals fan, I'm hopeful that Michael Wacha does enough this year to get consideration for a list like this. Also, Lance Lynn deserves mention as well.

LSU's Brian Wilson had some great years as a reliever.

You could make an MLB team of guys drafted just a few years ago that would be pretty fun to watch with Benintendi, Bregman, Swanson, Nola, Renfroe, Holder, etc.

So the guy listed that wasn't an all-star once in 12 years was better than a guy who in only 5 healthy seasons was MVP of the all-star game? Yeah, okay

Jonathan Papelbon - MSU, very good relief pitcher
DJ LeMahieu - LSU just won the AL batting title.

Wow, the elite company of Melky Cabrera, Carl Crawford, Garrett Anderson, Jeff Conine, Julio Franco and Terry Steinbach.

With the SEC being a top 3 baseball conference it's kind of surprising the holes that would be in an All-SEC team. I guess it goes to show just how dominant international players are.

And not going to college (or quickly doing juco)

Trout, Harper, Machado, Betts, Seager, Altuve, Linder, Freeman, Goldschmidt, Rizzo, Votto, Arenado, Encarnacion, etc

Either skipped college, did juco or are international guys. There are still great players who went to 4 year schools (Turner, Bryant, Schwarber, Donaldson, bunch of pitchers), but definitely a minority.

You seem salty. Is it because Bo killed the Bear?

Has Bama even produced as many All-Stars as Auburn has AL MVPs?

If by salty you mean not an unrelenting homer, then yes.

Alabama had one alum pitch to another alum during the 2011 All Star Game for the AL.
