I'm laughing at your team, too. 2 wins against Sun Belt teams with a combined 1-7 record.

"UNIV OF TENN-Scenario could happen that a 1-loss UF could go to SECCG instead of a 2-loss UT, despite UT winning head to head."

If this happens, you can add Mr. Ed to the Loser column, because Florida will be embarrassed by whomever they play from the West in Atlanta, and Ole Mac will be further exposed as the shite head coach he is.

Never understood why Foley didn't go to an alternative plan and go to a neutral site. He had to know by Tuesday

Because it didn't benefit Florida to do that. They can collect insurance money by not playing and have a leg up in the East. This played out perfectly for them.

If Tennessee and LSU win out there will be a ton of Agtards and Gumps melting, that's for sure

Funny how nobody is talking about the money Florida loses by cancelling this game. I suspect that in the minds of the AD and university officials, losing that money is much bigger than any potential half game advantage in the East standings. For that half game to matter, Florida would have have had to have lost to LSU AND Tennessee would have to drop two SEC games AND Florida would have to win out. I bet the admins would rather have the sure dollars now than a *possible* advantage to win the East.

They want the insurance money they get from a cancelled game. I wonder if their adjuster will ask the question, "Why didn't you just play the game on Sunday or Monday like everyone else affected by the storm?"

I disagree on Foley. Foley put his foot down. They were asked to give up a home game in favor of playing on the road against LSU 3 consecutive years

Foley was also given the chance to still have a home game on Sunday or Monday or play at a neutral site. He turned all of those reasonable and previously done options down. Foley is full of it.

You mean the money that was insured? That money?

Florida loses nothing and gains everything by cancelling this game. Except for respect, they definitely lose respect. They are pure scum.

Question: Did Jeremy Foley get exactly what he wanted? Did he get exactly what UF wanted?

There is almost universal agreement that the answer to both questions is yes.

Therefore, Foley is perhaps the biggest winner of all. The fact that every LSU fan is on meltdown only serves to reinforce that point. Newsflash: Foley doesn't work for LSU. He doesn't work for Tennessee. He doesn't work for Sankey. He works for Florida, and he got everything that he and the Gators wanted, while making zero concessions. That's the textbook definition of winning. The notion that Foley comes out of this a loser is beyond stupid. Don't confuse winning with being popular.

Here is how Bama could get fricked in all this...

LSU wins out including a convincing win over Bama

One loss Bama to SECCG
One loss UF to SECCG

Playoff committee selects resurgent LSU over SEC Champion.

Fat chance in hell but possible. The Bama melt would be so bad Sankey would be fired immediately on the spot.

Florida offered a Nov. 19th date but LSU refused due to having to play Texas A&M the following week.

That's a true statement. Regardless of the optics, and there's an argument to be made he got Florida a pass there, Foley put Florida in the best position by not playing the game and had an easy out for it. Foley and Florida are biggest winners, which is why none of them are complaining at all about the game getting cancelled
