The areas on either side of the video board on the outside of the garnet siding, that hasn't been covered yet: those areas will be covered with an area that will light up....there will reportedly be a noise monitor that will gauge crowd noises during games, and the lighting will light up towards the top the louder the noise is, sort of like a noise scale....

That'd be awesome if true. At the old hearnes center in columbia (bball arena) we used to have a decibel meter but apparently the big 12 wouldn't let us put it in mizzou arena. 
It'd be cool if we got it back in mizzou arena now that we are in the SEC.

We will actually have a SEC worthy scoreboard and a pretty schnazzy renovated tailgating area. So yeah. Gonna lose, but yeah.

I thought I'd like our spiffy HD board as well but I've grown to hate it. Most of the time it's spewing shitty Sea World commercials and playing some Chevron race game with cars 1-3, or hiding a football under helmets. And if it's showing a replay half of it is being used for some advertisement. Also our fans used to be loud between plays, now they're just staring at that thing waiting for the replay. IMO, all that kind of shite is for NFL games.
