Mullen ain't going to Florida. State will not be outbid and that comes straight from Dr. Keenum and the AD. In any case, I think the Florida job may be a catch 22 situation for Dan and he knows that. Also been there done that.

If Mullen doesn't leave, I'd be shocked.

- He's going to graduate an unprecedented number of seniors and his Heisman-finalist QB.
- He will have nothing left to prove at MSU.
- MSU simply cannot outbid the institutions who will be after Mullen.

Unless he wants to be the Frank Beamer of Starkville, start planning your ticker tape parade.

Or you can go 30 min south of Starkville and visit the Casino resort

Casino >> Beach

I don't know. He has a ton of job security
at MSU.

He will no doubt get a nice raise this spring.

Why leave all that good will for UF where he has
3-4 years to win big or else?

Do you think the poster that said "casino >>> beach" is speaking on behalf of an SEC coach? It's pretty clear he posted his opinion that the casino near Starkville is better than the beach in Gainesville. I'm not sure why you are telling me a coach can go to a beach, mountains, or wherever they want as it's irrelevant to my post and the thread topic.

State already pays him 3-3.5 million and can easily pay a few more. Unless UF wants to pay him 8-9 million I don't see how they can far exceed his future raise.

Have you ever been to Orlando or Miami? Pretty much rude people from New York...

When did they make Orlando and Miami a state?
