Just a couple short years ago Florida fans insisted on how much Mullen was a douche and deserved no credit for Tebow or their playcalling in 2006 and 08.

I wasn't arguing campus wise, just found it funny what he was saying. Gainesville is your typical southern shithole with 60-90,000 people.

Several points:
1. A HC of one SEC school has never been hired by another SEC school on Slive's watch.
2. Mullen is paid the same as Muschamp and Mullen will get another raise this year.
3. Mullen has spent 6 years getting "his players" at MSU. FL sucks, see #4.
4. FL is a dumpster fire and Mullen has spent several years getting the MSU program to a great place.
5. FL will need to fire Foley because it is rumored that he and Mullen do not like each other. Would you go to work for someone that you didn't like for the same amount of $??
6. Mullen has no pressure at MSU, but the pressure would be instant if he went to FL.
7. Mullen has raised his family in Starkville and his wife loves it there (1st hand knowledge). She loves that she can go shopping in town without a lot of drama.
8. With the SEC Network money, we will match what FL is willing to pay, IF they even offer.
9. More likely that he goes to another "big name" school not in the SEC.
10. IF he does leave, we'd roll Collins (who will also be a hot name this year) into the HC position.
