Bama would still have ONE loss without Richardson. I agree with you about the LSU probably still being undefeated without Honey Badger, though.

I dont buy this either. He has brought us back to life the past two games. I think we slip up once with out him.

Really, Cat? We were struggling vs Oregon and in comes the Honey Weasel and he stripes barner and scores a TD on the scoop and score.

We needed to make our presence felt vs WVU so Mathieu strips their WR that he had been trash talking all night. trash talk backed up.

UK game was just icing on the cake.

Skip to Arkansas. LSU is down 14-0 at home to the hogs. We need a play and fast after driving down for a TD. Honey Weasel takes a punt back 92 yards. Tie game now. Next Arkansas possession he strips the Ark RB and we take the go ahead TD into the half.

Vs UGA we looked dead in the water on offense in the first half. We needed a play and he produced another "TD" on a returned punt of 62 yards. He then recovers a fumble on UGA's first possession of the 2nd half. Follows that with one of the best now scoring returns most have ever seen.

He is a vital to LSU and our current success.

Heisman worthy.... you better fricking believe it.

He's a great player, I really don't see how you can deny that.

I think RGIII and Bama not playing this weekend will be the biggest reasons he doesn't get it.

I think so too. The funny thing is that RG3 wasn't even playing in a conference championship game, just a regular game. The Big 12+or- decided to skip a weekend and play their last regular season games on championship Sat.

If the Auburn/Alabama game had been the same weekend as his, it might have been different. At least Trent's name would have been in the conservation.

You would have won those games without him. He's not even your best corner.

IDK if we would have. We were dead in the water in both games.

Debatable. You cannot simply take his TDs off the board and say LSU would have still beaten Oregon, Arkansas, and Georgia. You have to remember when his TDs happened and the lingering effect that momentum has on the game and the final outcome. I think you can very easily argue that LSU would have been in a very big hole in those games without the HB's performances. All 3 TDs where when the offense was sputtering and LSU was down.

It's not going to matter anyway since RG3 will surely win it.

Not playing in the SEC Champ game cost him.

Sounds like the reason he didn't play in the SECCG is the reason he never had his Heisman Moment this year

I think RGIII, Luck, and HB7 are the only individuals who fit the "MVP" characteristic of the Heisman. Is Richardson good? Sure, but Bama would easily be 11-1 with Lacy back there. How about Ball? Dude has a ton of TDs, but I don't see him as a very good RB and I certainly think Wisconsin's inflated offensive numbers skew his statistics. Luck and Stanford are joined at the hip, the Honey Badger arguably provided the spark in 3 of LSU's victories, and RGIII is the entire Baylor program IMO. I think RGIII deserves the Heisman.

CatFan81 thinks that Mathieu should punished because he plays on the most talented and best team in the country. You see, if he played with a bunch of slaps, like Baylor, then he could say that he means everything to his team. I'm sorry you were watching basketball games, but Baylor racked up about 28 second half points in a game 2 weeks ago when RGIII had a concussion.

I'm sorry you hate him, but Tyrann Mathieu is the best player in college football this season. No defensive player has ever made as many plays in one season as this guy has. He's closing in on the NCAA career forced fumbles record... I said CAREER... and he's a sophomore that only played on a little more than half of the snaps last year.

Ingram fumbled away the Tennessee game...if Tennessee had a kicker that could kick higher than your noseguards stomach, you'd have a horrible Christmas
