Both of those teams were in the top 20 in scoring offense and in the top 25 for rushing offense. Their passing games weren't that good, but they didn't pass that much due to the awesome running games and defenses they had.

Well I would think that you can tell if a hockey player makes a great pass between three defenders into the waiting stick of a prolific scorer for a top shelf goal. And I also don't know shite about hockey, but I'm guessing I know more about CFB than you do about hockey.

That game was about as intense a football game as you could see. I like scoring as much as anyone, but in that game you were just waiting for one team to explode, and neither offense could do much. Those defenses were just exceptional.

It was a great game but very overrated. Wasn't the best ever not even close. Cams come back and 2007 Floria Lsu for both schools were far better overall games. Missing field goal after field goal while Lsu struggles to get over the fifty most of the game is rather not an insanely great show

A&M played in a 9-6 game in 2010 vs nebraska, so it's cute for Yall to copy it the next year. Copying classic games is kind of gimmicky IYAM

You have to be insane. That was one of the greatest games I have ever been in the stadium to watch. If you weren't there, maybe you can't appreciate it, but the tension throughout that whole day and throughout that whole game was the most intense I have ever seen. That was an epic war between two titans. The absolute joy and release when we kicked the winning FG in overtime was beyond measure. Probably the two best defenses since Alabama's 1992 unit put on a display for the ages, and it was unbelievable.
Maybe it didn't have the same impact for someone who wasn't a fan of either team and wasn't there, but I can tell you that whole day on campus and during the game was a college football experience that any fan would kill to have even once in their life.
