trying to "sell" the game as one of the best because of the defenses. Sorry but if you have to go out of your way and tell the audience why the game was good, it wasn't too good. In my opinion.
I had a roommate once who would try to show me "awesome" hockey plays on YouTube. But I couldn't tell the difference between a good hockey play and a bad one. Because I don't know shite about hockey.

What about the National and Conference Championships. Auburn has a NC and & 2 Conference. LSU has 1 SEC since 2007

Not sure what any of that has to do with this season...

I wouldn't rely on just W/L either. But to exclude it purposely, and then blame it on "this is what the rant told me hurr durr" is disingenuous.

LSU and Bama fans just got mad about their shitty offenses in ONE game and started pms'ing everywhere

Well LSU's offense wasn't shitty. Bama's defense was just that good.

Umm do you remember that 41-7 beat down last year. And Auburn has more recent National & Conference Championships then

Lol...so why are you going to be watching us instead of Auburn? It's ok...we all know why.

Hey you. Yeah you. Go frick yourself. Best defenses in the country that year. I may be drunk but that game was fricking amazing to be a part of. I'm happy I'm a part of this next one in Tuscaloosa.

Again go frick yourself

What's UGA and LSU's win/loss like in a 5/10/whatever year comparison?

Good question.

2005 to 2014
LSU: 103-29 (.780), 2 conference titles, 1 national title, 5 top 10 finishes
UGA: 94-38 (.712), 1 conference title, 0 national titles, 5 top 10 finishes
Auburn: 87-42 (.674), 2 conference titles, 1 national title, 3 top 10 finishes
Florida: 94-36 (.723), 2 conference titles, 2 national titles, 4 top finishes
Bama: 107-26* (.805*), 3 conference titles, 3 national titles, 8 top 10 finishes

*I counted Bama's vacated wins because frick the NCAA.

that's one game that a true football fan (at any level) watched intently (every play). two of the best defenses every assembled on the same field. one play, ONE PLAY, could have made the difference in the game. it was exhausting to watch.

outside of Bama's FG kicking of course).

I always found it funny how gumps just took these missed fgs as points left on the field. 3 of the 4 missed fgs would've been career long makes for their kicker.

Not quite the same... Bama and LSU had good offenses against everyone else that year. Just incredible legendary defenses

No shite it's not like both offenses were hilariously bad like in the Wisconsin vs Iowa game this season

Both teams were in the top-20 scoring offenses in 2011.
