trying to "sell" the game as one of the best because of the defenses. Sorry but if you have to go out of your way and tell the audience why the game was good, it wasn't too good. In my opinion.

I wouldn't rely on just W/L either. But to exclude it purposely, and then blame it on "this is what the rant told me hurr durr" is disingenuous.

that's one game that a true football fan (at any level) watched intently (every play). two of the best defenses every assembled on the same field. one play, ONE PLAY, could have made the difference in the game. it was exhausting to watch.

No shite it's not like both offenses were hilariously bad like in the Wisconsin vs Iowa game this season
Both teams were in the top-20 scoring offenses in 2011.
