We have a Robert E. Lee High School here in Alabama. I don't think they should change the name.

This has nothing to do about racism and the fact that you think it does is the problem.

You have no clue about economic and political scene of the United States between 1820-1860
do you? I bet you think this current election is about a womans uterus.

Put down the game boy and go read - you're making yourself out to be a fool.

True. I've never met a person that had a problem with it. Know lots of people from Mississippi. Only time I hear about it is when it blows up in the media.

What single state right triggered the war? I have read a lot on this subject. The vast consensus of historians is that slavery was the primary catalyst. And I am aware of some of the smaller issues like the Lincoln election and the tariff controversy. You guys also believe in the moon landing hoax and 911 truthers?

Hell at least people in Missouri have the balls to say the reason why they fought people from Kansas and not cop out to some lame excuse as "state's rights". I respect the people of this state. They are proud of fighting union troops, fighting against a free state and wanting to turn it into a slave state, etc.
