4-8 and 1-7 in the SEC.

This imo really will be the worst Tennessee team of the post-Fulmer's era, and that's saying a lot.

IMHO 5-7, 6-6, or 7-5 at the very best.

How can Tennessee be this bad with all the top recruits they get? I don't get it.

Dooley was awful but they still should have been bowl eligible on talent alone.

5-7 if they get even halfway decent QB play, but given Butch Jones history of developing QBs, 3-9 isn't out of the question.

How can Butch be a terrible coach?

Good Coach = Not Fat
Bad Coach = Fat

Didn't you get the SEC Rant Manifesto on this?

Last year we suffered a Dooley hangover. Butch had to coach the quit out of the players. we began to see results during the UGA and USCe games, then our starting QB got hurt and we had to play the 3rd stringer, a true freshman on the road against the number one team in the coutnry, then vs. Auburn, then @ mizzou. Last year was not a good indication of what this year will be. I see 7-5. And, sadly to say, i'd be happy with that, considering its a step forward in the right direction, and it gets us to a bowl game for the first time since 2010.

It just so happened that the year with one of our top 3 offenses in history (2012), was also paired with our worst defense in history. Dooley decided that was the best time to switch to a 3-4 even though we didn't have the right personnel and we had a first year DC who had never been a DC before.

This isn't the Big 12 where you can piece together 6 wins by a crappy conference schedule mixed in with a couple of weak OOC opponents.

UT is getting better, but they've been in an unfamiliar abyss the last couple years. Unfortunately that history might screw them even more simply because the UT fans might grow impatient, expecting too much success too early.

Especially considering we play UGA, UF, USCe, and Bama every year, and our OOCs since 2008 have included Oregon(2x), UCLA (2x), NC state and Cincy (the last 2 aren't the toughest, but theyre no pushovers).

Was Mizzou's 5 win season a fluke or was every other season when they win 8+ games the REAL fluke? Only time will tell...

Will Tennessee have good line play this year? Will they have good QB play? That will tell you how good they will be.

I would have said the same thing about Missouri between 2012 and 2013.

Really, you wouldn't have said that having our starting QB healthy, OL healthy, and starting RB back would make Mizzou better in 2013 than 2012?
