6-6 or 7-5
Offense will surprise some people. Defense should be more talented but less experienced.
Pretty much a complete renovation of the team, so who knows at this point?

It's almost impossible not to make a bowl game in the last 10 years.

There are only 3 "sure" wins on that schedule.

The hard non conference game they've been playing every year has been killing them.
If you have four creampuff non-conference games you can go 2-6 in conference play and still make a bowl, which is pretty damn absurd when you think about it.
With the hard non-conference game you gotta go 3-5, which is a lot harder.
With the explosion of bowl games over the last few decades and the addition of the 12th game, "making a bowl" isn't as meaningful as it used to be.

The USU game will lay out how TNs season will go. USU is a legit fringe top 25 team that has played in hostile environments many times over recent years and just come up short against the "big boys" they will be fired up and not intimidated.
TN fans want to make a big deal about USUs losses especially on D and while they are significant they are not crippling by any means. Due to injury and in game rotations they are returning a lot of guys that have game experience. It's kinda like how VU is losing "8 starters" on D from game 1 last year but that does not factor in guys like Azubike, Butler, Dixon, Stewart, Sealand, Head, Sims, Williamson, McIntosh, & McGaster who all either started at least 1 game or received significant action during the season. Especially in the secondary those guys got a lot of PT and were very prodictve.
USU will be a tough out with Keeton back for sure, kid is a absolute stud.

6-6 is my blind pick
They'll have to upset someone like Missouri, Florida, or USC to get to .500 though

So...you must be the cousin of Daniel Hood. It's OK, what he did to you wasn't your fault.
