Once again, the new and improved Southwestern Conference.........

LSU
Arkansas
Texas
Texas A+M
Texas Tech
SMU
Rice
Baylor
Houston
TCU
Oklahoma
Oklahoma State

The original plans for SWC invited A&M, Arkansas, Baylor, LSU, Ole Miss, OU, OSU, Rice and Texas (along with now D3 Southwestern). LSU and Ole Miss opted to stay in the SIAA (or whatever it was called) while OU stayed ~5 yrs and OKST stayed ~9 years. SMU and TCU were added in 1918 and 1923. Tech came along in the late 50s and UH in '76, i think.

Would have been a hell of a conference...

"what if Texas, Clemson and Georgia Tech got so upset with A&M, South Carolina and Georgia that they ratted them out to the NCAA for cheating!"
Texas telling on someone else for cheating? Never go full retard.

ETA: Also no mention of ratting out Arkansas.
