Every year we predict the end of the dynasty, as Bama's best players leave. But with the way Saban recruits, the replacements seem to fill in without missing a beat. As long as the Bama continues to sign top recruiting classes, they will be in the NC hunt every year. And so will LSU.

This is just like you to talk out of your arse.

I actually don't think we will see as many SEC rematches as some may think. I think most of the years, there will only be the SEC champ in the playoffs. SEC fatique will play a part in this, and why I don't even think Bama would of made it this year. Between Baylor, Stanford, or MI State, I think they would of found 2 conference winners to put ahead of a SEC at large.

I think he wins 1 or 2 more before heading to Lake Burton.

I think he wants to break Bryants record for Nat'l championships. I think Bryant has 6, which means Saban needs 3 more. He's had the no. 1 recruiting class 5 of the last 6 years and may have the top class again this year. He will contend for the championship every year and I give him a 50:50 chance of winning it any given year. I think it will take him 6-7 years to win 3 more and then I think he will go to ESPN.

He won 3 of the last 4. Would have been in a playoff this year. And won it. #1 recruiting class in the country coming in (again). So I say, no, never again...

In 2005, if you were asked "Who will win a BCS title first, USC or Bama?" you would have been a fool to pick Bama. But Bama has won three since then and the Trojans have won zero. So who knows really.

This. He could have won his last. He could win another, or two.

i'd say in 2 years he will one. No QB experience coming up for next year, and the def won't be great to make up for that, as previously with AJ

you never know. Bill Belicheck hasn't won a Super Bowl in 9 years. It's really hard to do. You have to think he has just as good a chance as anyone though.

Bama's problem is being in the West, with LSU, TAM, Auburn and Miscellaneous random overachievers (e.g. Ole Miss). I say this b/c some of the BCS selection committee are stern about not letting 2 teams from the same division go to the playoff. I expect an unwritten rule about it. LSU and Auburn have historically been just as good -- so one pot has to be split year after year.

Those predicting multiple titles for Bama in next several years are full of it

Well, not really. Prognosticators look at the players and the Alabama system and can easily say "of all teams this team has met more of the requisites for long term success than most other teams." Of course there are variables, all of which were in play during the last three title runs. But if you had a checklist for potential success, Bama would meet most of them.

Yes. Should have won one this year- he has the best team in the country. I think the playoff will actually make things easier. We'd be in it this year, for example, instead of eliminated by Auburn.

He wins 2 or 3 more and then retires.
