I think we all saw what the Sumlin offense did to Saban. Dude can't handle the speed, which is the direction college football is heading. Saban era is done after next year, imo

Did you start watching football AFTER Saban dispatched Urban Meyer?

I can't get a read on you Aggies. Sometimes you seem aight, other times . . damn.

Shocked and hit his emotionally drained team early with 20 points, Bama/Saban regrouped and gave up 9 the remaining part of the game and almost came back. Saban will handle Sumlin just fine.

You also played Bama in a down D year right after LSU with a a great Oline. It'll be a good game next year, but I wouldn't chalk up any wins.

so you disagree? with what part? that the East is getting better and will most likely be better than the West?

or about the part if Richt wasn't a dumbass he would have beat yall?

The two hottest teams are from the West.

Spurrier getting old. Richt is Richt. And Florida hasn't done a whole lot to make me worry too much about them going forward.

Don't count out Arkansas either. I think they are going to re-emerge, and LSU will still be knockin' heads.

The SEC West has the SEC Championship four years in a row . .

. . your roll is a bit premature.

Georgia loses a shite ton on D. Spurrier will never win another SECCG. Florida is the only hope for the east.

what is he like 5 years older than Saban? come on.

Richt is Richt

yeah, guaranteed.

and who knows about Florida. if they get some sort of offense, they could be dangerous as hell.

the SEC, and CFB in general, is cyclical. the East used to run this conference then West did. the East is about to regain power.

I'm a prophet. the East wins the SEC next year

He's 61 now. Will be 62 during next years season.

Your mental prime is from 40-60.

I don't think he will coach more than 3 seasons. His intensity level he demands of himself won't be possible anymore. He retires sometime before the 2016 season, IMO.

Florida didn't run a hurry up offense. THAT is Saban's weakness and their are 3 teams that will run it next year in the West.

It's a wonder a slacker like him got this far. Obviously riding the coat tails of good assistant coaches.

Spurrier's been at USC longer than Saban's been at Alabama.

Saban has 3 titles and 2 SEC Championships. What's Spurrier got?

Past performance is no guarantee of future results--but it's about all we got.

For the record, I think Spurrier is a great coach. Historic, really.

Spurrier turns 68 in 4 months. Saban will turn 62 in October.

Spurrier needs a great QB to win... The game has passed him by.

His 1st good defense shut down Texas' spread offense, who ran roughshod on aTm so bad y'all left the conference rather than continue with the annual beatings.

aTm needs to learn to beat LSU and UF if they're gonna win anything major.

I'll give you a pass this time due to the inflated ego from surpassing everyones expectations including your own fan base.

yeah, it's taken Spurrier time to build the program here, but he's had back to back 11 win seasons now. we should be even better next year.

Saban never had to build Alabama. He inherited great players and Alabama recruits itself.

yeah so a 6 year difference. big deal. Spurrier has said that he feels great so his age doesn't matter.

Haven't read, but thought BAMA would take a step back. Instead he lit a fire under their arse and won it again. I believe he can do it again, question is will A&M or LSU stop him this time.

Did you watch Bama under Shula? How about Mike Dubose?

Bama does NOT recruit itself. It took facilities and a big time hire. I'm pretty sure we won 6 games in '06.
