Alabama fans are not like LSU fans. They do not knee kneejerkingly make irrational decisions when their coach loses a game or two a season

Yes. I believe he'll be terminated shortly after losing to Big Game Bob by multiple TDs.

I do hope we meet in the title game, These are the best two teams IMO, and best matchup.

You realize that it didn't take Alabama two overtimes to beat them, right?

I constitute any BCS bowl/ national title a "Big game" OU has 2 less national titles but About the same BCS wins in that time frame. So to say a sugar bowl is OUs superbowl is just silly. However OU did beat the best team in the nation that year and everybody knew it. Alabama would have Skullfricked FSU or Auburn if they played auburn again.

We constitute national championship games/playoff games as big games (notice I didn't include SEC Championship games against Top 3 ranked opponents either, there were 3 of those since 2008).
I guess that is just the difference in our programs.

Really? Do any of those "big games" include a national championship?

And the BCS bowls were just as big as the playoff game Alabama got murdered in last year.

Our 2013 team would not have skullfricked FSU. Not even close. That FSU team was the best team in the country. We could have beaten them, but we would have had to have played extremely well.

No, they weren't. There was no path to a championship in either Sugar Bowl or the Capital One Bowl or any other non-title/playoff game.
Win the playoff game, with the next game, you are national champions.
That isn't even debatable. Get out of here.

So pre 2014 when the number 3 and 4 team could play in a BCS bowl that's not the same as the number 3 and 4 team playing in a playoff game? Ok...

Boomer- I know what you are getting at, but trying to start shite with a Bama fan base that doesn't get excited about a non-Title Sugar Bowl is about as useful as a Diet Coke in Bert's hands. What does it accomplish really? As a Buckeye fan I was already told Bama wasn't jacked for the game last year because it was a play-in game to GET to the title. In other words, if they weren't chosen for it, they didn't care. Like how they are lambasting Auburn fans for not caring about the IB this week.

I'm sorry, did the winner of #3 vs #4 get to then play for the national championship? No? Then no, it isn't even close to the same thing.
Playing for the chance to finish #3 is just as big a game as playing for the chance to win a national championship? Really? You are kidding, right?

LOL wut? Who the fvck said that? I haven't read or heard that anywhere.
We were 100% excited for the CFP game vs Ohio State and Ohio State came out and played better and beat us. I'm not even using the "didn't care" excuse about the Oklahoma Sugar Bowl. I think we played poorly, but we lost and Oklahoma played great.
My argument is that it is idiotic to compare National Championship semifinals and title games to showcase bowl games where the winner has no shot to win a title.

Its still the same quality of game though man, regardless of the next game. You still have the same quality of teams playing eachother.
