The same OM fans complaining about recruitment troubles in this threads are the same OM fans that were expecting a 10-12 win season this season. UMRealist, Sorantable, DMagic, all of them, if you look at their posts prior to the season, they were all expecting a SEC CG appearance this season.

Then why are they so disappointed?

Did they really expect recruits to want to join a football team where the quarterback is Bo Wallace?

I've read this site for a long time. Made an account because I was told it tells you which threads are new

because after LSU, many people thought 10 wins was possible because 1) most people underestimated how good Missouri was and 2) no one expected State to beat Ole miss. They had Cotton Bowl aspirations and ended up in Nashville. If Ole Miss had a 10 win season in Freeze's second year, it would have provided for a lot of positive momentum going forward.

Define good. Will we win 9 from time to time? Yes. Will we ever compete for the West? lol no

10 wins was never going to happen.

LSU and State shouldn't have happened the way they did

Why did fireman get a new alter and start trolling OM fans?

IMO -- MSU and OM just have to remain relevant as every-year bowl teams. If both can consistently do this, the stars eventually align to make a run once a decade or so when the other teams take a step back.

I said it myself that the Ole Miss football programs was the one particular program most hurt with the entry of Texas A&M into the SEC West.

Enter a program with a better recruiting base, more money, better resources, more widespread overall support than either Mississippi School.

Ole Miss nearly made the SECCG in 2003 in a rare year in which Auburn and Alabama were both down. How many times is that going to happen?

Now, they must compete with 4 not 3 other West superpowers for them to win the West. Further, Arkansas normally beats them more years than not.
