I'm concerned for the safety of our USCe friends. The first game that the Gamecocks lose that involves two USCe players blocking one another... well it won't be pretty. A handful of strokes and several broken hands from punching walls at the very least.

Here's the Muschamp narrative. Blame the previous coach for all your failures. How many L's next year before we hear about the mess Spurrier left him.

I can't imagine any coach with half a personality losing a head-2-heead recruiting battle with this angry clown. I hear Bo Pelini is available to be his DC.

South Carolina entered this coaching Derby first..and ended up dead last.

Start with one bourbon, one scotch and one beer. Then we'll see where you need to go next.

This appears to be par for the course for the SEC, Mizzou was lucky to have a coach that was going to be in demand already in house, 3 of the highest paid coaches in football are gone from the SEC and another one would have been replaced.

One thing that needs to happen and soon, the SEC Network needs to start pulling it's weight, for taking half the loot from the whole gig, Espin has done a shitastic job so far. That Network really sucks compared to what it could be and should be for the kind of money the conference is pulling down.

retired baseball coaches make for terrible athletic directors. USCe got put in the bertman pickle by Tanner. Legendary coach so oh lets make him AD and let him name his replacement. His replacement has ruined the baseball team and he is busy making horrible moves as an AD. Lesson here is don't hire your legendary coaches to be AD.

well for having an Offense coach, their offense wasn't all that good, now they have a D coach, we'll see but I expect their D to improve, maybe even more than their O declines.

At least Boom can improve your QB play/development, as he did such a great job with the gator's QB's.

Honestly, y'all should probably hope for one of those "last minute snags" the piece mentions. Boom is a great defensive mind, but he's never come close to demonstrating he can elevate a program as HC in the absence of top-line talent. If he couldn't get it done at UF, how's he going to get it done at a program that will be facing a significant percentage of the teams he struggled with at UF...but with less talent?

You don't need tissues because you will already know what's coming. You may want to go ahead and take up a winter hobby because your not even going to look forward to football and you see him coach the team.
