You can't fail at a place with the resources of a Florida and then be expected to set the world on fire at South Carolina. There's no reason at all to expect this to turn out well.

Do you mean all five of them?
I don't think Gator fans are big on reading and writing.

I'm in a very small group that believes this was a good hire for SC. Mus knows his (recruiting) way around the south. He demands excellence of his defense. He has learned from some good head-coaches. If he hires a good OC, you guys will be aight

This feels like a hire based on what they hope he does in recruiting. I am not certain he is head coaching material based some of the nonsense he does, but Dabo is making it work in that state so maybe CWM will figure it out.
I would have loved to kept him one more season for the simple sake of continuity, but I actually think it will help Gus just run his offense the way he wants.

This is going to be a disaster.
If they had hired Bama's mascot for HC, you'd be praising them.

This should be interesting and fun to follow with lunatics running the basketball and football programs.

Maybe he learned from his shite show at Florida. Making funny mean faces and chest bumping on the sideline is for position coaches.

At least he's loyal.

He'll yeah!! Great news! Now get out there and flip some recruits!

His defensive recruiting will be great. The offensive recruiting will cause you to:
Enjoy the DEs to TEs, lack of balanced classes, and 1000 dbs, and recruiting stud rbs as LBers.

This is very disappointing for the entire conference. That guy couldn't even hold a DC position at Auburn. I don't know what SC is thinking but the administration can't be trying to win on the field the next few years with him. Maybe the goal is get a guy with experience for cheap right now and make a loser who don't matter a post-Spurrier-era scapegoat. B/c no ones gonna win as much as Spurrier anyway so maybe they are just getting the worst they can on purpose.

Also SC doesn't have the recruiting base as UF or the resources. I don't think Champ wins more than 6 games there. His hires better be great because he's already shown what happens when they're not

Yeah, I don't see that working out well... who will be their next coach after Muschamp?
