SC can't get enough of Florida's sloppy seconds.

Also, it's going to be very funny if the deal is done for SC,and it doesn't include and official HCIW tag. I guess we'll find out about all the truth and rumors out there soon enough.

I doubt that. I guess it could be less official, but I don't think WM would take that position without a solid head start on the HC job, and I'd think he'd want that well acknowledged.

From 247 site TheBigSpur.com:

South Carolina head coach Steve Spurrier says not to keep clicking refresh on the computer. There aren't any changes on the coaching staff expected in the immediate future.

"Not this week, no," Spurrier said, when asked if there are any announcements coming soon. "All of our coaches are under contract for this year. Unless they find another job somewhere, we’re all status quo until whatever happens, happens. When the bowl games over, we’ll see where we’re at. If we need to add or not add, we’ll do it then."

Whammy was supposed to put in the ball-hawking LSU defense. Instead he forgot how to teach tackling and recruit, at least last year.

I was happy for him when he got the DC job, because I really like LSU's scheme. But it was not to be. Ellis' players left, either graduated or for the NFL, and the bottom fell out.

Clowney, D.J., Quarles, and there are others.

He was in on the recruitment and did some coaching. BTW, I saw him play when he was a senior at Winnsboro. Andrew Jackson waxed his arse.

I would hate for Auburn to lose out on Muschamp, but if SC will offer HCIW, well more power to them.

I really think if SC gets back on track, Spurrier will walk back the 2-3 years until retirement.
