We know Banks had a similar amount of turnovers as TM7. We get it.

He actually the exact same amount of turnovers last year. TM7 had 2 INT's and 6 FF's while Banks had 5 INT's and 3 FF's.

However, Mathieu's plays were gamechanging. Charles Woodson won the Heisman in 1997, but there were a few guys who had more turnovers than he did. He just made his plays in big games and big times.

Banks can't play offense. If our offense was as good as LSU's last year him making turnovers would have translated to touchdowns. Banks made "big plays in big games at big times" but then our offense proceeded to three and out and he had to go back on the field.

Oklahoma State had the most interceptions amongst DBs in the NCAA last year. Do you want their DBs?

I don't see how this is relevant. Both TM7 and Banks would have much better stats if the ball was thrown 40+ times a game at them.

Please stop the ignorant Banks shite

How is it ignorant? What point about TM7 are we missing? We say that our corner is a better cover corner(which is the general consensus) but that TM7 is a playmaker and we're ignorant?

What's ignorant? They had the same number of turnovers and banks is tops in every game changing category. More so than TM7. TM7 had one more return for td but banks wasn't even our return man half the year. It's not ignorant. Banks is the better corner. That's a fact. TM7 is very similar in game changing plays. Maybe slightly better, because of the importance of those games. They both deserve respect. The only reason I spout off Banks stuff is because some people won't acknowledge it. If you aren't one of those people, I'm not talking to you and I appreciate you not being blind by a TM7 crush.

Would LSU fans respect Banks more if we gave him a 'cool' nickname?

Will you admit TM was better than any Miss St. Cb ever? Because he was.
He win the Bednarik and SEC defensive player of te year as a True Sophmore and was a Heisman Finalist. What else could he do? You're dumb

Sucks to lose a difference maker and the best corner in the SEC by a long shot. That is if you factor in all the intangibles he brought on to the table.

No shite i hate for every LSU fan except Drac Sanc and Crow. Couldn't have happed to two bigger dickheads.

What's ignorant is comparing a state player who was on the field a lot more than TM being that your time of possession was one of the worst in the sec and comparing a cb to the NATIONAL AN SEC DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR. period.

Name one Miss st cb to win the Bednarik or even SEC DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR. go ahead. I'll wait and I'll be waiting forever because its never happened. A miss st cb has never made the Bednarik semi final list. DWI. These are facts.

How is that Head coaching gig at Ark working out? Wonder what JLS can do with all those 2-3* players that Ark has recruited.

That was not your original question.

TM reaped the rewards of playing on a team that had a high profile season.

Congrats. Seems to be working out swimmingly for him.
