I've watched LSU closely since 1973.
He is EASILY the most dynamic playmaker/gamechanger/"wtf did I just see" guy to wear an LSU uniform during that time.
He did things I have NEVER SEEN BEFORE, on any level, and he did them regularly.
To suggest he is overrated is to disrespect the game itself.
Beyond hackish and ignorant.

This reminds me of someone who played for AU that got alot of hate for being so great...can't remember though.

Yeah, it was the greatness, not the salary he earned that made people jab at him.

Thanks for that. He was a very good utility player for you guys, there is no shame in that.

I guess that's what being reduced to an irrelevant shitstain of a forgotten afterthought of a football program inevitably produces.

Unknowledgeable football fans whose biggest claim on success is to flame a message board with abject idiocy.

Or is he still the greatest thing since synthetic weed?

He's the greatest playmaker I've ever seen in an LSU uniform. Find me stats of a defensive back over his freshman and sophomore year that can come close to what he did. You can't. Sad day.

I'll go ahead and say that he is kinda overrated, but he has done a lot for the team. Somebody will emerge as the playmaker and that is Eric Reid
