There are reports he ignored and even joked about alleged rapes by his players and the victim committed suicide. You would think that LSU with the latest sexual scandals plaguing their program would have vetted this guy a little better.

Was Saban hated by LSU fans when he was here?
My uncle was a professor at Michigan State, and when Saban left there he said a lot of folks were glad to see him go.
Saban wins enough to tolerate that side, but let's not act like he's beloved for any other reason.

he's following Orgeron and the disaster of 2020 and 2021. It's the complete opposite of following a legend; the guy that follows Saban will be hated the first time they lose.

He has an abrasive personality. Add to that the scissor lift incident that lots of people feel he is responsible for, and yeah....lots of folks up herein Indiana aren't very endeared to him.

Week 1 vs FSU I guarantee you there will be fans in the game thread calling for his head the first time LSU doesn't score on a drive or FSU scores a TD. Our fanbase seems to always be divided on coaches, it's an inevitability some fans won't like him hell he hasn't even coached a game yet and some fans have already made up their mind that they hate him. Hopefully if Kelly delivers there will be more pro-Kelly fans than anti-Kelly, as of now I'm seeing a lot more optimism from our fans than pessimism.
