Will Kelly be as hated by LSU fans as he was by ND fans?

If you've ever spent any time reading ND message boards you know that Irish fans have despised Brian Kelly for basically the entirety of his tenure. This is why there hasn't been a lot of furor over Kelly's departure from there like there has been over Riley's departure from OU, even though Kelly is walking out on a team that is still in the mix for making the CFP this year. ND fans found him so abrasive and unlikeable that despite the fact he brought ND back to heights not seen since Holtz was on the sidelines, on the whole they seem glad to see him go. How long will it take before LSU fans hate him just as badly?

Not sure where you got this opinion from.
Notre Dame in general seems to be quite pissed. Players, ex players, administrators, and fans alike.

Not from what we've seen in ex-player quotes and people close to program (Golic, Brown, etc)
He is known to be a hard arse at times and that's ok honestly.

Let's be fair:
Notre Dame fans are, BY FAR, the most delusional fan base in college football.
They expect national championships, but even Saban would have trouble recruiting up there. It's cold, it's in the middle of nowhere, and they don't make caveats for academic requirements for athletes. ND making the playoffs and being in title games is going to be the ceiling there; winning those games means beating Southern schools that are just way more talented.
So you have ND fans that remember the "good ol' days" where Notre Dame was awarded a Heisman and a national title just for having the shiniest helmets, but these days going undefeated in the regular season just means running into a buzzsaw from the SEC in the postseason.

yes ND fans hated the winningest coach in ND history. More wins than Knute Rockne.
Yes they hated their coach that had them in the CFP and was 11-1 this year..
yes they hated the coach who prior to his arrival had horrible seasons only to average 10 wins a year after.

I have several ND friend and they hate him for leaving but absolutely loved him as their coach.
