I'm not salty, i'm answering the OPs question as to whether or not Freeze will win something significant; I believe as do you that a win over the #1 team is significant.

And before SwayzeBalls and Tornado Alley show up to say 34-3, and before I retort with 44-20-1 and fat, poor, racist, and stupid, I wanna say that I believe Freezus is a phoney and those top 5 recruiting classes are done, it's over.

He'd make an awesome southern Baptist preacher and I'm not kidding.

One day I got in my car and had the radio on a local sports talk radio station and Hugh Freeze was having his press conference after being announced as Ole Miss head coach. I honestly thought my station had gotten changed and I was listening to a sermon. Took me a while to figure out what was going on.

Seems like a pretty good dude though.

Freeze isn't limiting Ole Miss. Ole Miss is limiting Freeze. There's only so much a Mississippi fan can rationally hope for when they're in the same division as Bama, LSU, and Auburn with less talent.

His first year going 7-6 with that squad was nothing short of a miracle. Second year his best players were all true freshman since CJ got hurt early in the year. Last year we hit our stride but the LSU game hurt us then losing the way we did to Auburn was demoralizing. No team would bounce back after losing a game like that and be the same. Freeze is frustrating as frick sometimes but he is still growing as a coach. In 5 years we will have won the West at least once if he continues to improve as a coach, keeps recruiting like he has been and gets the offensive line under control.

We'll be in contention year in and year out and once every two or three years have a good shot of putting it all together, I think.

It may take a special player to get us over the hump, like a Dak Prescott.

Both MS coaches are about to have good squads every year. No more wax / wane, wait 3 year business.

It feels nice too..

Exactly. Which is what I hope Shea is. If there's one thing I wish Freeze could do like Mullen, it's develop quarterbacks. They both are pretty similar in playcalling. They look like geniuses at times then they will call a play that makes them look completely retarded. Freeze's plays are usually more aggressive while Mullen can be way too conservative

I'd like to have a good seven or eight year run where each team won eight plus games every season.

Sheeeeiiiiittttt the Egg Bowls would be great.

I'd like to scrap the stupid HUNH and go to a pro-style, traditional offensive system WITH A PRODUCTIVE RUNNING GAME. The only times the HUNH have worked in the SEC required Heisman Trophy winners and/or Gus Malzahn calling plays.

If you believe Ole Miss cares more about the Egg bowl than MSU, you are batshit crazy. It's far from a bad thing that MSU cares more, but OM cares about LSU way more than MSU.

As for that pick, that had nothing to do with the egg bowl and you know that.

Once the NCAA inevitably changes the rules to nerf the HUNH then we will have it. I have faith that Freeze can adapt accordingly. State wouldn't have to change very much of their offense

I'm honestly fricking baffled when I see people predicting LSU to win 10+ this year. They have two QBs who can't throw a forward pass and a defense led by a guy who WVU is still scoring on.

I honestly think OM will win the West this year and put an end to questions about Freeze. I mean we know he knows how to win championships. How many Girls State Titles did he win?

But all kidding aside. I think that OM will beat Bama in BDS and win the west. You heard it here first.

Also, LSU is in the same boat as UGA. Both fan bases know they have a ceiling with their current coach. Just wont admit it
