Looks like Spurrier and Meyer made that program what it is.

It's ignorant to think they won't.

Who knows how long it'll take though.

Yes. They have too much money in a competitive state filled with elite prospects to never be elite again. What a stupid fricking question.

/thread.

The answer is yes. When was lsu's last national championship in football?

Unfortunately, yes they will. Too much talent in Florida to not be elite. They need Miami to continue to mediocre and for FSU to slip to improve their recruiting.

12 months before yours

I mean I get wanting to take a shot at the OP and that's great, but there's probably better ammo you could've used

Yeah it would have been a much better insult if their last national championship had come when Jimmy Carter was still president

The correct answer would be "Yes,"

Will probably win another NC before LSU does.

Probably? You just hired a new coach from the Mountain West Conference. Before that you had to hire a guy with no previous head coaching experience. Apparently they aren't lining up at the door to take over that program that Urban Meyer had no problem walking away from. And you must not pay too much attention to recruiting?

Like:

LSU fielding a football team 11 years longer...

-but only having 1 NC more (in 1908, 2 years after our first year)

-1 more 10+ win season (LSU has 14, UF has 13)

-Same number of .500 or less seasons (28 each)

-Or UF having a 31-27-3 head-to-head advantage

Yes, they'll land another Spurrier/Meyer caliber coach or Heisman caliber player at some point, because that's what you need to win a natty.

You'll regret asking such a DA question as that and it probably won't take that long.
