Will a 1 loss Notre Dame keep a 2nd SEC team out of the playoff?

I'm starting to think this might happen. I've thought all year the committee will try their best to keep 2 SEC teams from making the playoff. I was starting to think it might happen, but after thinking about Notre Dame I'm not so sure.

Sadly yes. But Notre Dame could very well drop another.

You can't be serious can you? Of course they will. A 2 loss ND could prolly do the same.

Yes, unless it's Alabama.

No. The remainder of their schedule doesn't give them an opportunity for a signature win.

I want to believe this, but I just don't see 2 SEC teams being in the playoff.

There will be no second team in the playoff, regardless of what Notre Dame does.

Still plays Louisville, Arizona State, and USC.

Damn, you Alabama folks are slow. This has been the narrative from the beginning. We are 8 weeks into the college football season and this isn't a surprise to anyone, except you I guess.

Sadly, it is likely a Mississippi team will be the one left out.

ESPN talking heads have their marching orders, it is about quality losses. Quality wins do NOT matter. so a one loss ND gets in over a one loss Auburn because their loss to FSU was better than Auburns loss to MSU.

Very possible, lets just let the last 5-6 games play out and see what happens. All this speculation is dumb if you aren't getting paid for it.

So premature to spectulate...half the season is left..a lot of teams will be defeated...wont be any major schools undefeated imo. Let it play out.
