I'd use the "we've got a badass over here" .gif, but I'm just not that impressed.

From your own words.

I spent 6 years in the Marine Corps, proud recipient of a expeditionary medal, I have served in combat, I finished college in Idaho, after the Corps.
So yes, a bunch of dudes playing soldier gets on my fricking nerves. My allegiance isn't to utex. It is to the United States Marine Corps.
First you throw out your military service as a means to bash a group that, by its very design, designates A&M by federal law as a senior military college, one in which over half their graduates commission and a substantial number are either combat veterans, SMP personnel, or enlist after graduation.
Then you throw the marine card out there (yes, I'm deliberately spelling it with a lower case m) as well as your expeditionary medal to try to show how badass you are.
At least you didn't throw the nazi reference out there.

Yes, I can clearly see how one could draw a parralel between serving in combat with a real branch of the military to a group of toy soldiers who march in neat little lines at half time, protect a dog from the villainous opponents, wear jackboots on a college campus, and twirl little white towels over their heads. On that note, maybe your team sees the white towels for what they are, surrender flags.

If only I knew what it was like to serve in a real branch of the military for any length of time...such as 14 years, or if I knew what it was like to serve in multiple combat tours...then I might attempt to wrap my mind around drawing a parallel (spelled with 2 l's and 1 r) between serving and a pre-commissioning source linked into a uniformed student body.
Then again, I wouldn't expect someone who was only in the service 6 years to know what the Command and General Staff College (CGSC) at Ft. Leavenworth is or why there's a running gag about what happens to students there ("lobotomized")

If that is true, then why in the hell would you make such a contemptuous post stating you would take Aggie cadets over the current commandant? Seems your a little misguided. Your university teaches its cadets in the hopes that they can one day serve honerably. Your statement places a east Texas training ground in higher regard than real service.
And I wasn't a lance Cooley for long. I was a corporal 3 years in and a Sgt when I left.

If we're being nitpickers and pedants, I should point out that it's rather poor form to use a numeral instead of spelling the word out.
"Two Ls and one R"

Clearly you're not a current Marine. The bulk of the Marine Corps calls him "General Anus" for a damn good reason. He is held in contempt by many for his actions and how he has zealously attempted to unlawfully influence recent high-profile disciplinary hearings.
I may not be the biggest fan of the CSA, and I think the SMA needs to go, but neither one of them have earned universal contempt like Amos has by selling out his fellow Marines.

They were legit in 2012 and earned some respect.
2013 and 2014, not so much.

No I am not a current Marine. If you had read rather than scanned my previous posts you would understand that.

How has aTm's running game been this year?
Are they a one-dimensional offense? I see they got absolutely nothing running the ball last night.

By the way, I know there is no way to see it from my previous posts, but I am willing to giv e credit where credit is due. Not all corps cadets are worthless slime.
Congrats on your achievements and thank you for your time spent serving.

I've talked to several veterans who have spent time around the A&M cadets and these friends are in agreement that the cadets regimen is more difficult.

During the investigation of the infamous "urination incident" in Afghanistan a couple of years ago, General Amos told the investigating officer that he wanted the Marines "crushed and thrown out of the service" before the investigation was complete or the trial even began. When the IO refused, Amos relieved him for cause.
Whatever your personal feelings are, when you're in a position like that, you do not abuse your rank or position in order to influence an investigation or for political gain.
