As long as SMU, Lamar, and Sam Houston St are on the Sept slate Aggie will be elite.

Hey we are still ranked unlike some people.

Meanwhile Baylor continues to be the best team in Texas, while TCU and Texas are reemerging.

hell, by the time A&M can get anything resembling a defense, the offense will probably not have improved.

Your O is going backwards. Out side of miles your D is stagnant.

the O is smoking too much weed or something

That's all part of your agswag movement. Smoking j's with the hc, embracing Drake as a local hero, letting johnny take his classes online, flying around in a stupid fricking helicopter, #wrts, barber shops and waterfalls in your facilities, the list goes on forever. That is swag. Without a doubt you guys are the 3 time repeat swag national champs.
With all of that said, I thought I would take more pleasure in the soon to be demise of your programs recent resurgence. I just feel sorry for you at this point. You were all bamboozled by an inept head coach. One who's home record is .5 games better than Fran and substantially worse than Sherm. You guys sold out who you were, have been for 100 years to be the "cool" school. You guys are and always will be good ole boys (no shame in that). Embrace it, revel in it, own it. That is your ticket to sustained success in CFB. Coaches and players who "get" what the Aggies are about.

This guy gets it.

Why don't you have Texas set as your favorite team? You don't have to be ashamed.

they're the SEC's Baylor.
I'd take their defense in a heartbeat...just not the one that played TCU yesterday, or the one that played West Virginia in 2012, or the one that played Oklahoma State in 2013...maybe I'd just take their DC.

Honestly whisker, they aren't. I moved to Austin 6 (i live in florida now)years ago fully expecting to dislike them. But Austin is a large city and I rarely had to interact with them. I really didn't develop a opinion of them.
Where as with the Aggies, I interacted with more of you guys while I was there. The individual Aggie is a good person. The Aggie hoard is fricking unbearable.
I don't really care if utex is good or bad. I do think a good Texas team is good for CFB, they give the rest if the country someone to hate. As weird as Aggies are, you could be the most likeable fan base in the nation. Its little things that irritate me about you guys. The over inflated sense of military worth is the real driver here. I spent 6 years in the Marine Corps, proud recipient of a expeditionary medal, I have served in combat, I finished college in Idaho, after the Corps.
So yes, a bunch of dudes playing soldier gets on my fricking nerves. My allegiance isn't to utex. It is to the United States Marine Corps.

LOLWUT?
Sherman lost 5 home games his first year at home, 4 by 3+ scores, and went 17-11 at Kyle Field.
Franchione lost 3 games at home in 2003, all by 3+ scores, and went 25-10 at Kyle.
Sumlin is 12-5 at Kyle.

My God, people - you idiots were the one's saying we would be lucky to get to 6-6 this year. It's like the average rantard has like a 5 minute memory.

Technically, you ended your term of service so you have no further allegiance to the Marine Corps.
I'd take a current cadet at A&M over the current USMC Commandant any day of the week (and Article 89 doesn't apply here, he's not in my chain of command in any way, shape, or form)

Fran 25 - 10
Sumlin 12 - 5
But yes I did misread sherms acumen.
Still, how much better is 25 - 10 than 12 - 5?

First, sos.
Second, check back in 18 games.

This right here is an example of why I dislike you fricks. Whisker is exempted.
That is the most intentionally disingenuous, obtuse thing I have ever read.

Sumlin has only lost to ranked teams at home. Teams that ALL finished (or will likely finish) in the top 15 at season's end.
Franchione lost 42-14 to Iowa State at home in his 3rd season, a team so bad they fired their coach and hired GENE CHIZIK
