I'm actually Lutheran as well.

Don't have a dog in the Baptist vs. Catholics fight.

He'll cut my balls off if he reads this, but we actually have a foul-mouthed Lutheran minister here who's pretty much a regular. So you're not THAT out of place.

I always thought it was messed up that we willingly identify as "Lutheran". It's a remenant of back when the Catholic Church would name heresies and label their adherents after their founder.

So Jan Huss led the Hussites.
Peter Waldo led the Waldensians.
...and Martin Luther led the Lutherans.

But call a Baptist a Calvinist or an Episcopalian a Henryite and you get weird looks. Call a Catholic a Papist and you damn near start a fight.

Nah, we just find something else to fight about.

South Park had a great episode on this.

All Religions in America spawned from Catholicism. Whats funny is to see any Christian Religion try to discredit another Your all on the same team, just pulling for different players!

In mormonism aren't we all gods?

By "we" I mean men and up until like 20 years ago just white men.

At least you aren't Episcopalian. Goddamn queer loving heretics.*
