Ou rotates 10 and they are a BETTER 10. I gave fl the edge in secondary y a lot but they don't have a better DLine than OU. I would say both teams are fairly even at LB across the board. Overall Similar size and speed on defense but OU secondary just doesn't impress me. FLs defense will be enough to keep them in a lot of games.

You are tripping. OU's LB's are their most disruptive unit right now. The DL has depth and talent, no doubt, but it isn't the greatest line or anything.

LOL. Nope. UFs Dline has 9 sacks through 3 games.

Oh ok well sacks don't count against east Carolina, Kentucky and sisters of the blind.

As an outsider looking in I think a question no one has really looked at is how good is OU really?

Up 17-3 on Akron at the half and obviously pulled away but Akron is absolutely terrible. Then last last week Tulsa hung around most of the night and put up 603 yards of offense after UT was only able to manage 254 total yards. It may be several weeks before you can really gauge how good of a team OU is.

Tennessee hasn't shown they can compete with above average DL's in the Butch Jones era. That is what is holding them back more than anything IMO.

Absolutely agree. OUs offense has looked anemic in the first half of every game so far. Make no mistake Akron has an excellent defense and Tulsa puts up a lot of points on anybody and also benifitted from a hail mary and two fumbles inside OUs redzone the game wasn't that close. That being said OU could be an 8 win team or a 12 win team. Feels a lot like 2000. they started ranked 19th and won a title. Hard to tell at this point but I DO know Oklahoma is better than Florida this year.

Your D gave up 600 yards to fricking Tulsa. Wtf. UF has given up 744 yards total in 3 games. Your ENTIRE Defense has 4 sacks with 2 coming from Bond and 2 from walker. Bullard and a DT Ivie have 3 apiece. Your schedule is very close to UFs.

AKron=NMSU
ECU=Tulsa
UT=UK
Your D sucks arse

We can debate until we're blue in the face about which team is better, I think OU is a bit better.

But there isn't much debate about the DLs. Florida's is far more disruptive and has held up much better on the ground.

I think their schedule has been a little bit tougher, but it still doesn't account for the giant disparity in defensive production.

Lol whatever man, either way FL isn't good again this year, and theres no sign of them being relevant in the near future. hang your hat on your defense but it wont matte with all those top QB busts that keep popping up in gainsville.

OU might suck too we will just have to wait longer to find out.

Yea I said nothing about an excuse. Then again missing two pro bowlers for that game does have an effect id guess.

I'd LOVE to see your defense try to get lined up and play Tulsa (Baylor lite). Talkin' about sacks........

Sacks against New Mexico State, Eastern Carolina, and Kentucky.

Florida has the superior DL. Tennessee is superior in all other positions except 1 corner thanks to Tabor being suspended. Florida can kickoff well. But, they can't kick a field goal. And, (while I don't have the vegas stat in front of me today) it is uncanny how many of Florida's opponents make their field goals eve when they are 50+ yarders and how many easy field goals Florida misses. If you bet on Florida before Tabor got suspended, it is time to bet Tennessee.

IF Grier runs around and has to come out of the game (which he probably should have come out against Kentucky) the suspension of Harris could make it very difficult for Florida to even take a snap on offense.

Tennessee wins this one and it might be pretty much over by the end of the 3rd quarter. I bet UT on this one.
